Rus Hendrickson - Was outstanding in his management of the complex process following my mother's cremation. He ensured and coordinated the placement of my mother's urn in the same niche as her husband at Arlington National Cemetery VA. Not an easy task. He also helped with the updating and re-engraving of the memorial plaque. He is a kind and caring person. Always kept us informed and helped us through a very difficult time. He is a wonderful asset to your company.
Randy William Holland from National Cremation Services in Riverside, California was a comforting and very informative man. He called me back immediately when I called very late as my dad was passing. He guided me and helped me thru a difficult time. When we went to his office he walked us thru the paperwork and answered all the questions we had. I would highly recommend his services. Thank you, Janie M.
Our experience with National Cremation Society has been nothing short of comfort during this most difficult and tragic time in our lives, We found ourselves completely unprepared for the tragic loss of a life ended too soon. Catherine and staff were there with us from the very beginning to the end and beyond, continuing to reach out to us to ensure we were doing well under the circumstances and providing us with resources to help cope with the feelings of grief and loss we experienced. We truly feel that Catherine and her staff showed a lot of sincerity and heart, and they truly care about their customers and the deceased loved ones that come into their care. From planning to preparation of the body to the funeral service to the catering/ repast event following the service, the quality of work was excellent. We will never forget Catherine and her staff. Catherine, you are one in a million; we will never forget you and what you have done for us and our dad!!!!!! We are truly forever grateful and appreciative for Catherine and her staff! There aren't enough words to express how wonderful you were, Lisa and staff. I can't thank you enough for the kindness and love shown to us in the loss of my mother. Your guidance and compassion helped us immensely. We will always remember what a blessing you were to us at such a difficult time.
After receiving notice that my mom had passed, I found National Cremation Services' information from a family member who used their services 11 years ago with my Grandma. Speaking to Latasha, who has such a pleasant, soft voice was incredibly comforting and I am so thankful I got to speak to her rather than the cold answering service. Once I was able to meet with Mr. Holland officially, my nerves were calmed and I felt like I was dealing with a dear friend. The way that he and Latasha do business is unprecedented and turned what could have been an awful experience, into a bearable and at times very warm and pleasant one. Thank you to both Randy & Latasha for the genuine love and care that you exude to your clients. It does not go unnoticed and I am incredibly grateful for that care during this difficult time. 10 stars !!!

My amazing father passed away on January 25, 2019, it’s been incredibly hard as he did so much for us. But having the services of National Cremation has made this process so easy I am considering taking part myself. I want to send a heartfelt “Thank You” to National Cremation, I don’t know what we would’ve done if my parents didn’t have the foresight to take care of this ahead of time.

When my husband of 38 years passed away, on top of being an emotional mess, I was apprehensive that planning his cremation would be met with disappointment and unnecessary expenses. During the process, I could see that my apprehension was unnecessary. Josh at the North Hollywood location was warm, patient, polite, informative, thorough, and accommodating to some unconventional wishes that my husband and I discussed before he passed. Josh made it ALL happen. I am a very satisfied customer of National Cremation Service. Also, their rates are unrivaled.
Josh catered to all our needs and followed up with me every step of the way. When my baby passed I called around to different cremation companies and everyone seemed insensitive about. On the other hand, Josh explained everything and was very compassionate about our families loss. He made our experience better than any other place would have.
We received great assistance from Catherine Rawdin from the Ruskin office. She helped my brother and me with the loss of our Mom which was devastating to us. We met with her on Christmas Eve and she helped us with the paperwork, answered our questions and offered advice. She was always there for us and kept us updated throughout the entire process no matter what day or time. Catherine's compassion was from her heart. Our family appreciates everything that was done for us by Catherine and the entire staff.
The process of managing my father's death was handled smoothly and with compassion. We are SO PLEASED with the process that my wife and I intend to utilize the National Cremation Society as we prepare our own final requests. Having everything arranged in advance reduced the stress of a sad time for us and we want our children to have the same positive experience with final arrangements when we pass.
Stephen Barreto was very helpful with all our needs. He made sure every detail was right and helped us every step of the way. He was pivotal important at a crucial time in our lives. He and the staff there are excellent.
People grieve in different ways, all the way from somber grief to celebration of the life of a loved one. Randy seems to understand that and picks up just how the grieving party is handling it. I was quite impressed with his ability to handle the process with sensitivity and yet some level of humor. It reminded me a little of the Mary Poppins song about a spoon full of sugar helps to make the medicine go down. He made the process a lot easier for those of us left behind.
Simone, During such a hard time in our family, your kindness meant so much. With heartfelt appreciation, I really thank you! Tammy H.
A very professional and ethical organization. They provided exceptional guidance during a very stressful and emotionally difficult time.
Lori, Thank you sooooo much for reassuring me!!!!! That is a relief because being responsible for everything and so many total assets made me feel horrible if I had messed up. Thank you again, you’re an earth angel and the world needs more souls like yourself. It’s truly comfort and not all people are suited for such an emotional task! Muah 💕 Bonnie
Jeffery Testerman was really great to work with. He is very professional and totally committed to answering every question and making sure the whole process is smooth. Great Service! Thank you, Jeff and the rest of the staff.
Dena your kindness through this difficult time has meant so much to me. I hope everyone you work with understands what a special person you are. Thank you for being there. I could not have made it without you.
Justine and her staff were exceptional. My mother was a Florida resident and had made all her arrangements down there. When she passed up here in Washington, we were at a loss as to what we should do next. We emailed a copy of the contact that mom had signed to Justine and she took care of the rest. Even though we had a tough time getting the death certificate signed, Justine stayed on top of it and eventually had success. We would recommend " National Creamation" to everyone. Thanks, Justine for a fine job by you and your staff.
The death of a loved one can be and is a very difficult time. Confusion caused by the flood of emotion can cloud one's thinking ability at a time when decisions need to be made. I give special thanks to Barbara Kallevig for going the extra mile for my friend who passed away in September. Her cremains had to be shipped to Miami to be picked up there by a niece from Merida, Mexico. Barbara was kind enough to hold the cremains and legal documents at the Cremation Society until January when they could be picked up in Miami. She was always very polite and helpful and I appreciate the work she did for the family.
My mother passed away in October 2017. Barbara Kallevig assisted me in handling my mother’s cremation as I had no prior experience with the cremation process. Barbara is extremely knowledgeable regarding all aspects of the cremation process. Not only does she have a complete grasp of procedures, costs, notifications, death certificates and the handling of grief, but she is also always most responsive, accurate in all associated matters, sympathetic, comforting and kind. I was extremely satisfied with the care and services that Barbara and NC&BS provided. In December 2018 my father passed away. We immediately contacted NC&BS and asked for... Read More

We would talk about other things, which was comforting. He wasn’t that creepy funeral director that only talked about death, which was nice. He would check up on me and see how I was doing if he didn’t hear from me for a couple of days. My life was complete upside down and talking to him would make everything feel better as much as it could. He is just the regular down to earth guy that really enjoys helping families in their most difficult time, as well as his community. I defiantly recommend Randy to any family going through the loss of a loved one. Thank you, Randy, for being there every step of the way for me, my brother, and sister in law.

National Cremation & Burial Society seemed like a simpler and more streamlined operation. I went with them and worked with a gentleman there. It's hard to fool me as far as making me feel like people cared but then this gentleman did. He made something terrible a little less terrible. He put together a cost-effective package. It was very well done and tasteful. He went above and beyond. I recommend this service to anyone I deal with.
Given the difficulty of the situation, dealing with the death of a loved one, it is, of course, hard to be 'positive' when speaking about Cremation. All things considered, I was comforted by Lori's help, knowledge, and compassion, and the assistance that was provided in receiving the cremation remains and death certificates.
Wow, somewhere in the initial presentation I must have missed the advisory that my box would show up in the mail and that was a shock when with no warning I opened the carton and viola that is where my ashes will be placed. Quite a surprise!
Was exceptional due to abilities of Pre-Arrangement Counselor Anne **. Besides being outstanding in her job, I benefited from her wide, superior knowledge of other services a senior community member might need at that time of life. She was extremely helpful, had opinions confirming what I'd heard from others so was able to put my mind to rest, and invited me to recontact her if I needed further assistance.
I used National Cremation & Burial Society for my husband's last wishes. They responded in a timely manner, and they treated the body with dignity and made it easy for the staff to complete the process. It impressed me that they always brought flowers to place on the stretcher for the resident. It was a nice little touch. Their reps were very professional. The person that I dealt with was Lisa. The Clearwater center and especially Lisa Lustig is an outstanding group of company representatives who assisted us through this difficult process. Lisa followed up several times to coordinate the burial of both of our Aunts at the VA Bay Pines and we appreciate that high level of thoroughness. I would highly recommend National Cremation Services in Clearwater, Florida to everyone.
Sadly I have lost many loved ones over the years. The experience with National was the very best. The respectfulness, kindness, and professionalism were beyond my expectations. Lisa worked with me and she was so wonderful and made sure each and every detail was complete. When you say goodbye to a loved one working with someone who shows that kind of respect this operation did make life a little easier in those most difficult days.
Karen Taylor at National Cremation & Burial Society of Sarasota was so helpful in handling details and providing advice during this difficult time.
Randy and his team provided out family very professional and solemn service in our time of need. We would highly recommend NCS when the unfortunate need arises.
Randy, Thank you for your help.
After losing the best friend I have, Maryann McConnell and her staff completely made my life easier through this grieving process. I had so many things to take care of and Maryann made this aspect run flawlessly. I would highly recommend them as well as Maryann for your cremation process. Thank you very much for all you did. Respectfully
I would like to personally thank William Randy Holland for taking such good care of the details needed to be completed for my husband's cremation. He handled each detail with care and compassion and I really appreciate his efficiency and kindness. Thank you, Randy!
My mother had just moved to the area and only signed up a few weeks before her unexpected passing. Daren was able to make the whole process, for me, as painless as possible during this time. He kept me informed through every step. His compassion and thoughtfulness, as well as the services provided by National Cremation, were invaluable to me during this time.
I had the distinct pleasure of working with Linda Haugen through my father-in-law’s passing. Linda was compassionate, thoughtful and so helpful in the cremation process. Linda, you are one of a kind in customer relations you were soft-spoken, caring never raised your voice or became agitated or upset. I can’t say enough nice things about Linda, she is a friend.
When there is the loss of a loved one. It is always a stressful time. With the help and direction given by Randy, it made everything so easy. Everything was explained in easy terms that made it understandable. I would recommend the service and Randy to anyone. Thanks, Randy.
I greatly appreciated Mallory Johnson being so kind and efficient with the passing of my husband. She was also so time accommodating when arranging to pick up his ashes.
My husband and I had subscribed to your services a few years ago and hoped we wouldn't have to use it for many years. Your office was most accommodating, Meghan was a gem and the entire procedure went very smoothly. Thank you so much!
My Sister passed on Friday, November 16th. I primarily dealt with Lisa., the Funeral Director. She was very compassionate and went the extra mile towards me and helping me through this situation, for that I truly appreciate all her efforts to finally get the results. She does an exceptional job and remains on top of any situation. Lisa, I thank you for all your time and cooperation.
5 stars are not enough to describe the excellent care and service that Patrick Griffin gives. This is the second time I have had to call on Patrick for a family member. He always provides care, compassion, speed, and overall superiority when it comes to handling this part of the death process for you. I think cremation is the way to handle your end, and Patrick is definitely the man to deal with for this. Thank you, Patrick, for everything!
Lisa and her team are absolutely amazing! My grandfather recently passed and none of his affairs were in order. My mother and I finalized all of the funeral arrangements via phone and email from Colorado. Lisa walked us through every step with patience, kindness, and compassion. She assisted us in organizing all of the military honors for his service and she took great pride in making sure every detail was perfect! These are such difficult decisions at a terribly sad time and Lisa and her team made the entire experience much less painful. I highly recommend their expertise!
Randy is such a huge help and even going the extra mile to make it easier on us during such a grievous time. As a family, we were so impressed and relieved from the stress and pressure in handling such matters that we view him and his staff as a blessing and an answer from our prayers.
During this difficult and stressful time, Randy was truly a blessing. He took his time to make sure I was comfortable with the arrangements. Though the original arrangements were in PA, Randy confirmed it the CA laws so that we would get the commendations my father requested. Thank you for your service, Randy.
In a very difficult and emotional time of my life, Randy was both professional and compassionate. He accommodated me by meeting on Saturday when their office is normally closed. He was also careful to explain everything to me in detail and making sure I understood the policy and procedure. One of the things I appreciated most was his transparency and honesty. He did not try to take advantage of my emotional state and up-sell me things I really did not need. He let me know that it could take between 10 to 15 days for the cremation and the spreading... Thank you, Josh, for following through with our wishes. My brother's ashes arrived today, as promised. He can now rest alongside our Mom & Dad.
Having to call here was the worst day of my life but I am thankful that I found this place. Randy was an angel!! My Dad and I were very thankful for everything he had done for my Mom. Randy went above and beyond for us and was just amazing. I want to thank Randy from the bottom of my broken heart, THANK YOU!!! I would recommend this place, they are kind, gentle, and caring people. Valerie H.
I recently had my father pass and didn't have any idea really how to go about everything a friend referred me to this place and they did beyond any expectation I had for anything and they were extremely helpful with what I should do.
We are so thankful to Randy for helping us with this process. He took care of everything and we are forever grateful.
Randy, thank you for the kind heartfelt service you provide to us. This is certainly not something we think about during the everyday course of our lives, but we are very grateful that when we did need to, you were there. The service you provide is spot on and helped make a difficult time much less complicated. Thank You, Sincerely Mike and Connie

Stephen, the director, was very helpful and empathetic to my family during the very difficult time of burying a loved one. At every step, he was knowledgeable, helpful, understanding, and not pushy. I would highly recommend this location for your needs.
As I went through the toughest days, after losing my Dad, Randy was sincerely helpful and helped me put my mind at ease with this difficult process. I was very fortunate that He was the one handling my father.
Katherine was professional, compassionate and helpful in my decisions on taking care of my mother's final wishes. No high pressure at a sad time just thorough in making me aware of my options. Final steps were handled in a timely fashion and our last visit was like talking with a friend that cared about how our family was doing.
Randy at National Cremation Service was professional, helpful and kind. Our Aunt passed away in Riverside. Randy supported us through the cremation process as we are located on the east coast. It was very comforting to know Randy was taking good care of our aunt when we could not be present. Thank you.

Words alone cannot express the overwhelming gratitude and appreciation that my family and I have for Randy and his Team, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making an extremely difficult time go as smoothly as it could. May the Lord bless you and everyone at National Creation.
My mom passed away recently and National Cremation Society was very efficient in handling her affairs and helping me through the process. I would recommend them to anyone - it makes the process much easier for the grieving family members.
Used NCS in 2011 when my husband passed. Lisa Lustig guided me thru with compassion, understanding,& support. Because of this experience, my family prepaid our Mother, then decided to do our own plans. This included travel detail for death away from home. This month we returned following Mother's death, and Lisa again was invaluable in guiding this emotional time.
My father recently passed away. He had prepaid for his cremation 20 years ago through National Cremation & Burial Society. We had no idea what to expect when we called and were most pleasantly surprised. Jeffrey Testerman was outstanding in his assistance and advice and we couldn't have been more pleased--and relieved--with how smoothly and professionally the whole process was handled. We appreciated that there were no sales pitches or pressure to do anything other than what Dad arranged. Many many thanks for a job well done.
During such a difficult time in our lives, you made this matter as easy as possible for myself and my family. I am extremely impressed with your professionalism. You went above and beyond as you personally took care of my family in our time of need; it was noticed and greatly appreciated. Thank you again, for everything you did, as we said goodbye to a loved one. Sincerely, Peter S.Jr. & Family

After the cremation, he discussed, with me, options for a final resting place for the cremains. All communications and transactions were done professionally and compassionately. Even though I was 1200 miles away, I was relieved to know that I was able to attend to my aunts’ wishes.
It was a blessing to have such great service during this challenging time. The staff was very professional and compassionate at all times. A special thank you to Barbara Kallevig for her patience and a assistance.
Drew was very helpful and thoughtful. I would highly recommend him and National Cremation and Burial Society. It was nerve-wracking planning a military funeral in conjunction with Bushnell Military Cemetery. Everything went beautifully and he even got the Deacon we requested to perform the ceremony. We are very happy with the way our loved one was handled. Thanks so much, Drew!
My husband passed away on September 26th of this year, we want to thank Tonya for her compassion and patience during this difficult time. She answered all our questions easily and helped us to understand everything that was going to happen both before and after cremation. We found your society very professional and honest. No pressure for extras at that difficult time. Everything was done the way we requested. Sincerely, Marilyn R.
Jeffrey, I want to thank you for all your help during Ed’s death experience. I felt very comfortable with you leading the way. As did the rest of my family. We appreciated all your help. I felt You did a lot to help me/us out during this sad time. Thank You !!!!!
NCS was chosen by my father roughly 20 years ago to handle his needs. I have to say he made the right choice. The whole group was most helpful and understanding of our family when he passed. Every one of our questions was answered promptly. Most of them were anticipated. I would also like to thank Lisa Lustig personally for her help and friendship. She is an outstanding representative of NCS. Thank you all for your unsurpassed care.
The presentation by the National Cremation representative was thorough and easily understood. All the questions asked by me and my wife were answered and relevant to our particular situation. For example, our families live a number of states away from us. In addition, the representative was very personable and did not pressure us in any way. We signed a contract at this meeting and are confident that all our needs will be met when the time of death comes.
Thank you, Randy, for your compassion during this very difficult time in our lives. It will not be forgotten.
Randy, Thank you very much for all you've done in assisting my family and honoring my Father. I appreciate the kind words and the support, you made an extremely difficult time go as smoothly as possible. I thank you and your team for the respect and compassion that has been shown to my family. You all exceeded our expectations from the first night, all the way til now. I immensely respect and appreciate all you have done. God bless you and your team. Very Respectfully,
I grew up not too far from National Cremation and other people who had passed have used them before. Having used them before and not having any problems as well as always seeing that they had done an outstanding job made me automatically go to them without even considering anybody else. Also, my interactions with the staff of National Cremation are excellent and beyond my expectations. My experience was fantastic this time and better than I had expected. My experience was fantastic this time and better than I had expected. My father passed and I had never actually had to put the service together myself. I walked in, not knowing anything, and I spoke with Jeffrey. He was amazing, basically held my hand, and did everything possible. My mother and the rest of the family were so pleased with his professionalism and his absolute kindness in dealing with the whole thing. He handled A to Z and everything we could possibly imagine. So, if you need a facility, I recommend National Cremation highly. They take care of the details and they allow you the time that you need to grieve.
My parents signed up for National Cremation & Burial Society. They planned this, all they wanted was their body to be picked up, cremated, and sent to Arlington. We appreciate that nobody tried to give us any religious consult in everything as we're atheists. When I called National Cremation, they came and picked up the body, they gave me all the information I needed, set everything up to go to Arlington, and they didn’t bother me. My parents died within a year of each other and each time was handled professionally, quickly, expediently, and with very little chit-chat. I was happy with National Cremation at both times.
I liked National Cremation's location. The man that was there, Darren, was excellent. He was very understanding and kind. Don't hesitate to go with National Cremation. They were very considerate and thorough, and they handled everything. The pricing was very fair, too.
I would like to say what a wonderful job Jeffrey Testerman did in handling the arrangements and all of the problems that came with my very good friend's death. My friend had unusual items in his will, and Jeffrey, with his incredible knowledge, was able to work through all of the issues. Jeffrey is caring, knowledgeable and just a real pleasure to work with. I cannot recommend him high enough.
National Cremation Society was recommended to us by friends who had previously secured their services. The local representative, Stephen Barreto was both knowledgeable and helpful. I was able to submit the majority of information over the phone. Stephen had all of our paperwork ready when we arrived at the Oviedo office. He explained everything in detail. The kind staff at National Cremation is the major reason they have so many positive reviews. Thank you, Stephen and everyone at the Oviedo location.
I cannot praise the entire staff enough during the difficult time of losing my husband. Professional, honest, answered every question, help filling out the mountain of forms and true compassion. Definitely would not go anywhere else.
My parents bought a plan with National Cremation and my mother dealt with them when my father passed away 15 years ago. They were very helpful with my father’s burial as well as with my mother’s. When she was ill, I talked to Cindy, the gal in the office, who answered the phone. Indira, the agent, was outstanding and the information she gave me was very clear. If I made mistakes on some forms, she would notify me and send me the correct things to fill out. The experience with them was wonderful and they were great.
It was a pleasant experience with National Cremation. Everything went very smoothly. Everything that I asked for was done. We had a beautiful service at the National Cemetery for military and everything was handled. I’m a detail person, and I double-checked, and everything was already done for me.
We signed up with National Cremation four years ago and I have had an excellent experience with them. Their team is very good at their job. The pre-planned service was convenient and all was taken care of. They were very professional, low-key and not religious or sappy. They had a good personality and there was humor at times when it was necessary.
My Significant Other passed away on October 5. We went through this when my mother in law passed away last year. Jeffrey Testerman and the rest of the staff were wonderful during this process. Jeffrey explained everything and made sure I understood everything. He even helped me with some paperwork after the funeral. I couldn't ask for more. Many people said what a beautiful service it was.
My contact with this Business has been one of the best experiment in my life in a time of grief. National Cremation Service and Randy Holland guided me through some tough times in a world I knew nothing about. this company is top of the best in every way. Without Randy and his guidance, I would have been totally lost. Thanks to Randy I made it and things have worked out great. Thanks again, Randy.
Many thanks to Sarah and her team. Everything went smoothly with her help. We pre-purchased several years ago for peace of mind for the family when the time came. NCS is a very professional and caring organization. I have recommended them to others even before my wife suddenly passed. Thanks again to Sarah Franklin J.
Let"s face it, our dealings with Catherine Rawdin, of the National Cremation and Burial Society, was not during the happiest time of our lives. It was after the passing of our ninety one-year-old Mom, who arranged her own Cremation many years ago. Catherine made our ordeal surprisingly pain free being the kind and compassionate person that she is. Her thirty years plus in her line of work makes her really good at her job. We would highly recommend the National Cremation and Burial Society to anyone in their time of dire need.
Very understanding of the grief & needing information about what to do & how to do it. Sara & the other young lady were wonderful & very kind & understanding. I purchased some of the glass products as well as the heart because I saw them displayed. There was no sales pressure from Sara or the other girl. Thanks for the wonderful service.
I want to thank National Cremation & Burial Society for their compassionate and professional services with the arrangements for cremation of our loved one. Special thanks to Lori and Simone for helping me and my family by handling all the processes of final life arrangements for our Aunt. Thank you, thank you.
We had a good experience and were pleased with the professionalism that was used on a sensitive subject. The company response has been equally professional. All the literature and correspondence has been excellent as well.
My father passed away rather suddenly, although not unexpected. We had done no preparation for this. I called them because they were close to where my dad had passed. Jeff could not have been nicer and any more comforting. They had someone at the nursing care facility within hours and she, Jessica was lovely. The questions that had to be asked were done with consideration and empathy. When I had to go to the office to make cremation decisions I never felt as I was 'upcharged' for anything. Many thanks to them for all they did for me and my family during this difficult time.
I couldn't have asked for anyone better than Catherine to help me through the process and arrangements for my father in law. I had other terribly stressful family circumstances happening and she was most understanding, like an old friend. I'm very grateful for everything she did and I thank the entire staff. Everyone was awesome!
My experience with N.C. is on a positive note. Bonnie ** is very thorough and she helped us out immensely... Thanks for the prompt arrival of your Package which arrived in the designated time-frame from N.C.S. which B. ** informed us that it would.
My husband died after 13 years with Alzheimer’s. Barbara K. of the Sarasota National Cremation Society was compassionate and efficient in finalizing our plans. I so appreciate her assistance at this sad time for our family.
Chris with National Cremation in Oviedo made a very difficult time so much easier! Very genuine and caring. Funeral expenses were reasonable compared to others in the area. We were so grateful for Chris's knowledge and assistance with this difficult process. Everything went smoothly and with Chis's assistance, we were able to focus on celebrating our loved one's life instead of being burdened with overwhelming details.
I want to thank Lori, for all her help in my time of need with my moms' cremation. My Mom passed away at home and the only one with her was me. Little did I know what a mess I was in. Thanks to Lori with her calming voice and comforting way. You guided me through step-by=step. you were a God sent, you are a Blessed person. Thank you for everything. Isabella R.
From beginning to end the service the National Cremation Society provided was seamless. At a time, when you do not have the desire for complications, it was a pleasurable experience and the staff was more than cordial.
My family recently had the shocking and sorrowful task of making funeral arrangements for my brother. We chose cremation. By good luck, I spoke with Randy Holland at National Cremation Service in Riverside who assisted me in the process. He was very kind, considerate, knowledgeable and a genuine pleasure to work with. Anyone who works with him should consider themselves very fortunate.
My dad passed away in September and fortunately had purchased a prepaid cremation policy through National Cremation Society. The entire process was incredibly smooth from the time of his passing through the receipt of his remains. The gentlemen that came to the house were very kind and compassionate. We met with Simone at the office and she could not have been nicer. I am thankful that my father had the foresight to purchase the policy and thankful for the wonderful service we received.
Gloria was wonderful. I contacted NC prior to my father's death. I had never needed to make arrangements for a loved one or anyone else before. Gloria was gentle and thorough and explained everything. She coordinated with the hospice team. I was grateful for all her help and kind words. Meeting Gloria in person only confirmed my instincts that this was where I wanted my father to be cremated. She did not rush me through the paperwork; she again was gentle but thorough. I truly appreciated her guidance.
Daren was so kind, thorough and understanding he got me thru the worst time of my life when my son died. Can't thank him enough.
Simone and her office handled every aspect of both my parents' cremation and remains with the utmost of care, impeccable service and follow up and compassionate follow through. From the first contracts to the final resting place- they were flawless. I cannot recommend them enough as at time such as a death presents, the only thing you want is for everything to go as smoothly as it did with their service. Thank you for not putting me through any more than I had already been through with the death of both my elderly parents.
This isn't an easy review to write nor one that I want to spend much time on given the circumstances and my feelings about it (still quite raw), but the funeral director, Randy, asked us several times to review him, so here it is. My mom passed away about 2 weeks ago. We knew it was coming and wanted to make arrangements ahead of time to ease the process, so I filled out an online request form for information and the next day I received a phone call from the pre-arrangement gentleman offering to come out and meet me at a location of my choice to make the arrangements. It was a simple process, despite the load of paperwork, and he was very helpful with a good demeanor. At the end of that meeting, he gave me some cards to give hospice care so that when my mom did pass, it was one phone call to them and it would be taken care of. The cost of everything was about $1800.
The next day, I discovered that my mom had passed. I called the number on the card and they said they’d be out there within 1-2 hours for the body and that someone would call me the next morning to make the additional arrangements. I actually received a phone call later that afternoon from the funeral director, Randy, offering his condolences and inquiring as to what would be a good time for him to either call or set up an appointment the next day. We gave him a time for the next day and met him there.
Again, the process was as simple as something like that can be. We were obviously not in a good place and made some mistakes with permit information, but Randy was very patient and continued to re-do the paperwork until we got it correct. He let us know that the cremation would most likely be 5-14 days away and that the death certificates could be additional time. He would call us when it was time to pick up the ashes.
About 10 days later I received a call from Randy letting me know the remains were ready to pick up. I asked to pick them up that weekend and he said although they were closed Sat-Sun, he would be willing to meet me there Saturday morning if that worked best for me which it did. We met Sat. morning, signed the last few papers and were on our way. He also had received the death certificates by that time which was, convenient, for lack of a better word.
There’s no good reason to go somewhere like NCS. No matter what, it’s a bad situation, but I felt comfortable with the service they provided me, and given the terrible circumstances, I would most likely use their services again. I felt Randy and his staff do the best they can in these situations and it’s definitely not a job I could ever do. I was happy with the service given a terrible situation. I would recommend them if asked.
I cannot say enough about how great Daren is to work with. He was so compassionate, respectful and professional. He is in the right profession. Perfect personality for this job. He made the saddest time for me and my family a good experience. I would highly recommend Daren and the National Cremation Society to everyone.
Many thanks to Indira and Cindy as they helped me navigate the paperwork and the process following my mother's death. They were able to answer all my questions and provide guidance as necessary, all done with kindness, compassion, knowledge, and attention to detail. Thank you for your expertise!
During a difficult time, National Cremation in North Ft. Myers has been extremely helpful and flexible. Jeffrey and Joshua have been very efficient and helpful. We are grateful for their guidance in this process. We made many changes to the obituary and Jeffrey was very accommodating and helpful. My family and I are very appreciative.
National Cremation Service was excellent. They picked up my father the day after he passed away. You can call NCS at any time of day. The cremation did take a little longer than it did with my mother 4 years ago, but it made it easier to plan services because there was no rush. My parents contracted with NCS many years ago, so my out of pocket expenses were only for the death certificates. NCS had copies of the contract, and so did I. National Cremation was great to work with in dealing with my father's death. Barbara in the Sarasota office was very informative and gracious. She made the experience that was overwhelming feel comforting. I would like to thank them for everything they did for my family.
When I first called National Cremation, it seemed to be the right place to go with, considering the young lady who answered the phone and a couple of reviews. Lorraine came and spoke with us. National Cremation has been on my radar and it has been part of the last thing we needed to do prior to the diagnosis of my husband's illness. She’s a gem and that’s one factor that made us decide to go with them. She presented everything from soup to nuts. It was a lot of information to take in but the way she did it in sections and just made sure that we understood each part before she moved on was amazing. We’ve also heard good things about other people that have dealt with them. I highly recommend National Cremation and the Sarasota office and when I get back from out of town, we’re also gonna do the preplanning for me.
Jeffrey, Please accept our sincere gratitude for your outstanding services and kindness during such a difficult time. You are extremely good at what you do and your attentiveness to every detail made the viewing and services just what we wanted for dad. Thanks, the Wall Family.
Very professional and helpful service. All the details were handled with great respect and smoothly. Highly recommend this for everyone. Makes this difficult process bearable.

Meghan was very personal as well as professional in helping our family with the passing of our dear Mother. She kept in contact with me and kept me up-to-date. We finally met when my husband and I went to Sarasota to pick up my Mom's ashes. After this, I received several emails with regard to grieving and the support they give to the family. I would highly recommend National Crematory.

I can’t thank Joshua enough for all the kindness, compassion and caring on behalf of our family upon my dad’s death. From the moment they arrived to pick him up and receiving his cremated remains everyone was amazing. I am so very happy with how they took care of all of us
Handled everything from picking up my deceased mother to the cremation and urn. Will definitely do this for my children.
The attention I received after my husbands passing was outstanding. Lori Banes answered all my questions with great compassion. Veteran burial arrangements were made and all details were handled without any issues. Thank you.
Words cannot describe the care we received from the moment we entered the doors. I highly recommend the National Cremation Company in the JACKSONVILLE OFFICE
My mother had set up all the arrangements with National Cremation before she passed away. We dealt with Lisa and she was very good, professional, kind and understanding. She made it quick and easy for us so there were no uncomfortable moments which I was really appreciative of. National Cremation is definitely the way to go and is a much better way of handling affairs like that.
I and my family were very pleased with the care of the transporting of his body from our home to their facility. When we visited them in their office, we were treated with respect by Brenden and not made to feel like we needed to buy an urn or other products. I have recommended them to our friends and other family members. Thank you.
This was definitely the easiest part of the whole process Darrin was great. I felt confident my mom was in good hands.
Maryann was great to me. My mother passed, and I felt the same warmth and compassion from Maryann as a mother would. She has made a difference I feel I can mourn and be at peace, thank you for being there for me.
Josh at this location was amazing. He was very understanding with the loss of my mom. He listened to my situation, catered to my needs and walked me step by step through everything that was going to happen. He even followed up each step of the way to make sure my needs were met. I would highly recommend this location for your cremation needs. Thank you, thank you, thank you for exceptional service and for really making this very tough time so much more easier to handle.
Under trying circumstances, Lori Banes was sensational. She was quite compassionate, thorough, and knowledgeable. She continued to answer questions and concerns promptly even after the cremation.
No one is ever ready for the loss of their loved ones. National Cremation guided me and explained each step that would be taken. I will never forget the warmth that Pauline Grossnickle showed me when it was so badly needed.
Very good experience with our dad’s arrangements. Thoughtful and courteous staff. No pressure to buy any extras. Thank you🙂
A positive experience during this most difficult time. Lorraine came to our home to explain the entire process to us. This was very helpful as we were doing home hospice for our mother. Though time was of the essence, we did not know she would pass the following day. From the arrival of the funeral home to MaryAnn at the office finalizing the paperwork, everything was seamless.
I called National Cremation from the hospital when my wife unexpectantly passed away. A representative met me at the hospital within an hour to get the process started. A day later I met with Stephen ** who was extremely helpful in guiding me through the cremation process. He was very professional, knowledgeable, caring, and friendly which made the task so much easier. His help and that of the staff at the Memorial Service was simply outstanding.

Nobody was prepared for a tough time such as this and she made a difference as well as the receptionist who already knew my name every time I called. It takes a special person to do the job, and it takes an extra special person to do it well and almost change the tone of the situation from something that’s horrible to something that’s tolerable. There were quite a few little details that I wanted to take care of that I came up with later and Mallory always took my calls.
After everything was said and done, and when we already had my dad’s remains, she called just to see how we were doing to see if we had any more questions which I found to be absolutely beyond my expectations. National Cremation provided top-notch service. I have no complaints and only compliments to them. We were very happy with the service and the help. It was an excellent experience.

Karen Taylor is one of the most compassionate and professional people I have ever had to deal with during the darkest time of my life when my beloved husband passed. She was a miracle worker in getting the whole process done in less than a week so that we could have his cremains at his funeral mass. She is an earth angel and I am grateful she was there for me and my family. Thank you, Karen and National Cremation. Linda S Sarasota, Fl
Indira, I just wanted to send a Quick Note to you and your Organization that Mom's Remains were delivered today. I want to Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the Work, Service and Care you provided and to ensure Mom was well taken care of. God Bless you and your Staff and again, I Sincerely Thank You for ALL you have done! (Please Thank Cindy and the rest of the Staff also). You were all Great and I'm very Grateful to have had you in this time of Loss. With all Sincerity, Michael S
Honestly the best place, Maryann the funeral director is passionate and loving and attentive to each families needs, she gets the job done in the hard times. She is always keeping in touch with the families to make sure everything is going as smoothly as possible and to take the burden off the family members so they can concentrate on what's important their loved ones. This by far hands down is a GREAT!! the place to come :-)
National Cremation & Burial Society had the most compassionate people ever. They were top notch and they were wonderful. I heard about them when I went to a funeral. A friend's son passed away from a motorcycle accident and his passing made me think that I don't have my cremation stuff ready. I don't want my son to deal with any of that stuff. So we had a woman come and chat with me and my mom about the end times and how you could pay ahead. We did the paperwork, made the phone call, and then National Cremation took... Read More

When my mom passed away at a facility, a gentleman showed up within minutes and they whisked me out of the room because some hospice was there. Still, they were very careful not to make me feel like something weird was happening. I was still in shock of my mom passing right in front of me and they have the empathy and ability to show care and concern. It wasn’t made up or condescending. They have the most wonderful people ever, and the person who took care of me was so compassionate while I was having a meltdown. Her name was Barbara and she did the paperwork while I was bursting into tears.
During that time, she didn’t make me feel like I’m stupid or what. In fact, I felt that my mom went out with dignity with what she did. National made the transition for me easy. They even have something that they do, like the twelve stages of grieving, which was very helpful for me, that I wasn’t expecting. In closing, it’s been a big pleasure working with National. I would tell anybody who is thinking whether they’re gonna be buried or cremated about them.
Our family was very pleased with the service and product and care that was given to our love one Brittany. Maryann and the staff were caring, always there to answer any questions, helpful of with products we wanted to purchase. We chose Thomas Kinkade for mass care and thank you cards. They were beautiful. The guest book also had pictures, poems, and psalms. We thank you for your time, caring and the beautiful products. The Urns with the doves and all the jewelry. Beautiful keepsakes that keep our beautiful girl close to us.
Our family is so grateful that my father had the foresight to get a policy from the National Cremation Society for himself and my mother when they lived in Florida. Even though the policy had been originally purchased in Florida we were able to navigate the extra steps involved in the burial process with the help of Maryann McConnell at the National Cremation Society’s office in Bloomfield Hills, MI. Maryanne was a marvel, guiding us through the process in a caring, responsive and professional manner. She answered all our questions immediately, even updating us on her days off. We cannot thank her enough for the kindness she showed us during a stressful time. I would highly recommend The National Cremation Society as a smart investment for anyone looking to plan ahead and ensure peace of mind.
We lost my mom August 25, 2018. I can't thank Mary Ann enough for her compassion and professionalism through the difficult time. My mom had the foresight years ago to set up her own cremation with National Cremation Society so we would not have to make rash decisions upon her death. She said " It will be easy, just call them with my contract number and they will take care of me." As in life, she was right in death. Thank you for your ultimate care with my mom. She had a beautiful soul and will be forever missed.
Our daughter passed in Fla and we are located in Virginia. Lori walked me through step by step. She was so kind. She took her time to answer all of our questions. At such a difficult time for our family, I couldn't have asked for anything more. Thank you, Lori.
A family friend recently used National Cremation & Burial Society for their mom and dad and they said they were very happy with them. We went right there after my mother passed away and Jeffrey, their rep, was very nice. He walked my sister and me all through it, and he was not pushy with any of the sales. We were very happy with everything.
I was looking for something for my mother and Jim, National Cremation & Burial Society's agent, gave me the information. I knew him and I trusted him. National Cremation had good reviews, I liked how long they have been doing business and their preplanned services are well organized. When my mom passed away, National Cremation did everything. I had the card. I called in and then in a matter of an hour and a half, they were at the hospice and then they took my mom. It was well done.
My mom had prearranged her information with National Cremation & Burial Society. We had hospice services and my mom was staying with us at the time of her passing. I called National Cremation and I just wanted to check to make sure everything was in line and I knew what I was supposed to do. Then, when my mom passed, I called hospice and a nurse came who took over and did everything. She called National Cremation, and then the folks arrived about an hour later and took my mom's body. Everything’s paid for.” She knew exactly what the package involved. Also, she was awesome with her direction and getting everything we needed, and letting us know as far as the death certificates and how many death certificates.
We used National Cremation for Dad's remains. They did a great job so we came back for Mom. They answered the phone in the middle of the night and picked up Mom's remains within a couple hours. Next day Ronny respectfully explained all the options, filed for death certificates and provided a competitive price. I thought I was prepared for this moment; I wasn't. How nice it is to have a loving professional like Ronny to help with such details. Thanks, Ronny!
My Daughters and I are very impressed with the care, understanding, and professionalism showed to us by Tanya Parker of the Hudson, Florida branch on the passing of my husband Edward. All that was discussed and promised beforehand was handled with reverence and compassion.
Tanya and Wendy and staff incredibly helpful at a sad time. We would definitely recommend their services at the Hudson, Florida location. Their kindness and thorough help were so very appreciated. Jack and Linda Hughes and Family
Losing a Mother/Sister is not easy but when we met with Karen Taylor she not only sufficed our needs but she also was very compassionate. The funeral director in the Ruskin location goes above what her job description reads in my opinion. She is just the individual I wanted to entrust my Dad too when his soul left his body on this earth. It's such a horrible day, to begin with, to make that call but she made the process as easy as possible and kept me informed at each step. I can't thank her and her staff enough for their professionalism, kindness & caring during the worst days of my life. I will be seeing them again as my Mom also has her funeral... Read More

Gloria was very helpful and understanding.
They were so nice and so patient and I got everything done in time I really appreciate you guys and what you guys did for my family thank you so much.
After my mother died I met with Lisa in Clearwater. She was warm, very professional, sympathetic and handled everything so well we knew mom had picked the perfect ending. Lisa was there to answer our questions and to make the arrangements easy to understand. A true asset to National Cremation. We plan to make our arrangements in the near future. Thank you for your kindness
Although my husband and I had made arrangements for cremation a number of years ago, it was difficult when the time came to follow through on those arrangements for my husband of 76 years. At the National Cremation location in Ruskin, Florida, I and one of my daughters met with Indira ** who was not only efficient and knowledgeable but also concerned and very caring. Indira personally delivered the ashes to our church and met with me in my home. I am truly grateful.
They were excellent in our time of loss and need. Superb
Justin, I want to let you know I have been very pleased with your service and I need to sign up with The National Cremation Service for myself. Karen C.
The passing of a loved one is, of course, a very very difficult time. National Cremation in Ruskin helped me through the process with care and compassion. I am so grateful that both of my parents had the forethought to pre-plan their cremations and chose to work with this organization.
After my father's passing from an accidental fall, my sister and I were not only hurting profoundly but were very confused as to what was going to happen in the next few days. After answering a lot of our immediate questions, we scheduled an appointment for the next day. It takes a special person to put you at ease at a moment as difficult as your father's passing. My sister, my cousin and I had the whole process explained in detail and every one of our questions was answered with patience, compassion and a clear understanding of the pain we were going through. We could not have chosen a better person to help us get through what we thought was going to be a horrible process. With Mallory’s help, we understood exactly what was going to happen, who was going to be involved and when it was going to take place. With a job like Mallory’s you have to have a vocation and a deep love for what you do, and she certainly does. I also have to say that I was deeply touched by the fact that every time I called, Miranda at the front desk would greet me by name. That was a special and personal touch that I appreciated very much. You guys did a wonderful, special job that we will always appreciate and remember. You were all there for us when we needed it the most. Thank you so, so much. Scott, Michelle, and Jackie
I was very happy with the kindness that Mr. Shook had extended to me during my time of sorrow
Jeffrey Testerman is second to none in his field! Caring, compassionate, and kind are words that come to mind when thinking of his helping our family. I have formerly dealt with funeral directors and was surprised that Mr. Testerman did not push extra items to be sold for my husband's burial. He merely pointed them out and left the decisions entirely to our family. Up north, I remember my husband's mother's dress was at a cost of $400! Her children were in a very difficult stage of grieving and agreed to everything the funeral director had put in front of them. I admired his courteous and pleasant mannerism throughout my dealings with him.
I was also impressed with the way National Cremation handled my husband’s exiting from the ER room. They did NOT slide him in a body bag! They covered him with a soft blue blanket and draped an American flag on top of his body. Workers in the ER who were not busy lined up and some ex-military saluted him. What a dignified way for a Korean War Veteran to exit the ER!!! Some of my friends’ husbands who were there with me were amazed at this gesture. They had also signed up with other cremation businesses and asked their wives if they also had the same procedure in place. They were not sure that gesture was in place.
Since my husband’s demise, I have been in contact with Mr. Testerman and he has always gotten back to me and answered any questions that I had. I did order additional prayer cards and they were delivered before I left for NJ. Mr. Testerman assured me of a smooth operation and he did comply in all aspects of the funeral directive. I would highly recommend Mr. Testerman and National Cremation for their caring and kindness. Having signed up ahead of time, I feel that I made this a little easier for me and my family at a time when things could have been really difficult.
I am so glad we pre-planned our cremation with this company. The payment plan was convenient and no pressure sales representative. My husband passed in June 2018 and I didn't have the worries and stress about what to do next. It was so nice to have it all taken care of at a time of stress.
I was referred by one of our parishioners. Her husband received their services and was pleased. My wife had dementia and was in an adult foster care home. Right from the beginning, Mary told all that involved and I was grateful. The time came about a week ago and everything proceeded the way she had explained. The process was smooth, caring and enough time spent to know that she really cared. I highly recommend if her services are in need and you won't be disappointed. Thanks, May God Bless you. You get 10 out of 10 Nathan
WE WERE EXTREMELY PLEASED WITH THE SERVICE WE RECEIVED WHEN MAKING FINAL ARRANGEMENTS FOR A DEAR FRIEND. INDIRA LUGO ANSWERED QUESTIONS TO OUR COMPLETE SATISFACTION AND IN A CARING AND PROFESSIONAL MANNER. EXCELLENT SERVICE. THE PERSONAL FOLLOW-UP NOTE WAS VERY THOUGHTFUL.
My parents bought pre-paid National Cremation Services. Upon Dad's passing, Steven was kind and helpful to Mom. He was not pushy about asking Mom to buy services not covered by her contract. One possible improvement would be for Steven to have looked up the contract before we arrived.
After deciding on cremation, I attended an information session with a knowledgeable representative who answered all my questions and was able to offer a prepaid plan that is good anywhere. The cost seemed reasonable. After signing up I very quickly received my member card and memento box and urn. I appreciate the preplanning guide that was included. My daughters were informed, and I contacted my church to put things in place there, also. I'm glad that this decision was able to be made ahead of time, and that things are in place when they'll be needed. Thank you.
My mother signed up with National Cremation & Burial Society about 30 years ago. It was awesome because it saved us all kinds of money. It was predetermined, so we knew exactly what to do during a really difficult time. I couldn’t be happier with it. The people there were all extremely professional and compassionate. They were very easy to deal with.
The team at National Cremation was wonderful. They did so much and explained everything. When I got there, the girl just told us what we have and there was no extra money except for the urn. She called and did what she needed to do. It was so smooth.
My mother had made arrangements with National Cremation years ago. Her taking advantage of their pre-planned services made it so much easier for us when we needed the services. Our interaction with their team was excellent too. They were very understanding, helpful, sensitive, and professional.
I had the best experience with NCS after my mom passed away. It took only a few steps to get all arrangements done and in a prompt matter. The service provided by Lori Banes was great and helpful in moments like you wish they would never come. I recommend this company very strongly after my own experience.
Steven was very kind and compassionate...mom had pre-paid for arrangements which made it very easy for me..the day my mom passed away the team from National Cremation arrived to pick up my mom and they were so caring it made the process tolerable...all paperwork was done efficiently and everything was ready when I went to pick up her remains
The National Cremation team was wonderful. They took care of everything. I was less than a broken person and Gloria took care of me. She was patient, kind and she was not pushy. She did not try to sell me anything I didn't want or couldn’t afford. She let me change my mind. Gloria took care of contacting social security. She reminded me of everything I needed to do such as following up on my husband’s benefits and the other pensions that he got.
National Cremation is right next to a barbershop where I used to take my brother and it's up the street from me. I’m not even two minutes away from it and so I went in even without doing any research. The service was superb and I've had wonderful interactions with the National Cremation team. My mom chose National Cremation and did the pre-planning services. I wouldn’t have known what to do, so she had it all planned. The National Cremation team was very good and informative, and everything was already done. They made it a good experience and I was comfortable.
My assigned representative, Carrie **, was a warm and caring person who allowed me to say farewell to my sister with respect and dignity. She is truly thoughtful and empathetic - you are fortunate to have her as a part of your organization.
Her presentation was excellent. She tastefully covered all of the aspects of cremation and death. When I requested a meeting with my husband, she scheduled it for the same day. We now have the peace of mind that everything will be taken care of when one of us passes away. She represented your company well.

We dealt with the North Palm Beach chapter of the National Cremation Society and found both their director, Lori Barnes, and staff to be both compassionate and efficient. This was the second time I have had to deal with the Society and been extremely pleased with my experiences during trying times.

My Mother had purchased her Cremation plan many years prior and I had been instructed by her to call the number on their card, given her, when the time came, long years prior. What I didn’t know was how simple it would be and just how much work they would be doing for me as it was months before her urn would be transported to Arlington National Cemetery where she would finally rest next to my Daddy, her Husband of 44 years.
If I could give them 10 stars, Jeffrey Dellatto and his staff earned them. We were treated as if family. My daughter and other family members are forever grateful to you at National Cremation Society of North Fort Myers, et al.
Lori was such a nice and compassionate person to speak and work with after the passing of my Dad. She helped make his Memorial Service a day that won't be forgotten. I would recommend working with her and the National Cremation Society during such a sad and stressful time. Thanks again, Lori!
My parents had arranged for their cremation services ahead of time, which made things much easier for me. My dad died in July of 2017 and mom in Aug of 2018, both cremations were managed by Darin who made everything easy for me. I would recommend Darin and the National Cremation Society to anyone who wants to set up the services ahead of time or are hit with an unexpected death in the family. The folks are warm and caring and really keep up to date on what's happening in the process.

There are actually too many moments to put here but all together they equal kindness and memories I will always have. The night of the memorial service. Micheal greeted my mother who has dementia and myself at the door, He was soft-spoken with a warm welcome. My mother was put at ease saying loudly “I like that man”. We were off to a good start for the rest of the night. One Thank you is not enough Norwegians say, as I want to now, “Many thousand thanks“.
I can’t say enough about the amazing experience I had dealing with my moms passing and her cremation and it’s all because of Patrick **. From the first phone conversation to emails to texts he was available, patient and so compassionate- during such a heartbreaking time, he seemed to make everything easier. This is the reason without blinking I turned to him to take care of my prepaid cremation as will my sister and anyone who slows down enough to listen to me sing his praises.
My husband and I decided to attend a seminar given by Sheila **. She was very informative. We signed up, received our boxes and cards. The experience was painless. I would definitely recommend to a friend. In fact, I have!
My parents signed up with National Cremation & Burial Society when they moved to Fort Myers area 36 years ago. I was continuously updating my mother’s address as she moved on a campus of a healthcare facility. My mother passed away on May 31st. I’m in Minneapolis, Minnesota and they're down in Fort Myers, so it was a lot of logistics and emails. The reps were always helpful especially Jeffrey.
When my father passed away unexpectedly, we used National Cremation. Then based on the positive experience we had dealing with them, we got to them a second time to prearrange for my mother. We liked that it was a one-stop shopping. We took care of my father’s immediate needs then we took care of my mother’s preplanning, so it was a seamless transition from family emergency support and preplanning for other family members. Also, I really appreciated the lack of pressure or upselling. And their service far outweighs its cost. It was very personable and handled in a respectful manner. The additional assistance with Social Security and Veterans’ Affairs Coordination was very helpful as well.
I dealt with National from 3000 miles away and it was done with efficiency and timely. They fulfilled my requests without difficulty. They were polite and courteous and responded to my phone calls in a timely manner.
The service I received from Stephen ** was a comfort during this difficult time in my life. He was kind, friendly and extremely knowledgeable and he made the entire process of honoring my mother's wishes as painless as possible.

When we went in to speak to Joshua Shook we didn't know what to expect and he was very calming and gave us great service during a difficult time. He was very sympathetic, professional and helpful during all our choices and we thank Joshua and appreciate everything he did for us.

My experience with National Cremation Society was excellent in all ways. My dealings were with Barbara Kallevig, Director, Bee Ridge location. Ms. Kallevig was such a pleasant surprise because she made the whole process so simple and pleasant. I didn't know what to expect, but Ms. K. far exceeded anything I could have imagined. Jeffrey was very helpful during such a difficult time. We were able to respect mom's wishes with his knowledgeable assistance.
I looked at a few service providers and I thought National Cremation had the best price. Also, they seemed to take care of a lot of things and I was impressed by what they had to offer. Justin was our funeral director and he did an excellent job. My husband signed up first because he was older and he passed away last month. I liked the way the service was handled and I decided to sign up myself. I also recommended a couple neighbors of mine who signed up.

I was referred to National Cremation and I liked the whole approach of the information I was delivered. I felt very comfortable. Their rep, Justin, did an outstanding job in presenting the information. I’m from California, so I also did a sector of the Scatter at Sea and that was wonderful. It was a little rocky at first but then when I met the gentleman in person, he was wonderful. I would highly recommend National Cremation. I’m gonna use the company for myself as well
Justin Davis with National Cremation Services was awesome, he did an outstanding job working with my family and me during a very difficult time with the passing of my father, he made the services seem seamless and easy they took care of everything. I'm so thankful and grateful to Justin and his team for all the hard work they did on behalf of my family. Thank you all so much for BLESSING ME AND MY FAMILY.
My wife and I signed up in 2013 and soon thereafter were able to recommend a friend to use NCS. We were impressed with the service. And they had thought of everything that we needed so that we were in and out in good time. My wife died recently and again I was impressed with the organization and efficiency of how they handled all of the details. Thank you National Cremation Society.
The people I met at the National Cremation were nothing short of wonderful. My mom had taken care of her end of life paperwork years ago and I am her only child/daughter. Since my mom's death, I was in a fog and I have been dealing with my mom's unraveling with dementia for 7 years by myself. Barbara has big compassion and heart has a real gift for taking the unknown of what's going to happen and took care of everything, listening to me & easing my fears. That’s a precious gift. Thank you so much! Sue xo
We recently lost our dear mother for whom we prearranged cremation services. The staff at the National Cremation Society were all very caring and genuine. Indira Lugo was our funeral director and was so gentle and kind. Their professionalism and attention to detail was truly a comfort.
My mother prearranged everything. It was wonderful and the staff was so great answering all of our questions. They took the burden out of a very difficult time.
Karen at the National Cremation Society was so helpful with arrangements and paperwork a year ago for my Dad and then recently for my Mother. Living in Pennsylvania and having Cancer, Karen was so thorough and made it as easy as possible.
When a parent puts his child to rest, there is no consolation. Millie and the entire team at National Cremation were the most professional and compassionate people I could have ever dreamed of. From the time I walked in the front door to the day I said goodbye, I was received and treated with sincere compassion. I will never forget these wonderful people and what they did for me to make a very difficult time a little easier on me. God bless each and every one of you with a special blessing to Millie. Thank all of you.
I am so grateful for the assistance I received from Daren Dreiling during this difficult time. Daren certainly exceeded my expectations as he easily and thoroughly walked me through this process in such a professional and calming manner. I am totally confident about the decision I made to choose the National Cremation Society and highly recommend them.
Ms. ** handled all aspects of needed services including setting up military honors at the National Cremation. There were opportunities for additional items (urns, pendants, etc) but there was no pressure to buy which was greatly appreciated. I called several times with questions to which I got prompt responses. I was extremely pleased with the handling of this pre-paid service
Our mom, Maureen Bashaw was well taken cared of by National Cremation. Jeffrey T. was wonderful. From start to finish, he took the time to explain everything to me. While I was not in the best condition following my mom's death (vertigo), he was very caring and concerned. I will refer all my friends and family to see him. Thanks so much!
Jeffrey, How can we thank you for all that you did to help us through this process! You answered every question & solved every problem, with patience & caring. We could not have managed without you & we are eternally grateful! You are amazing!
I was very pleased with the service and care Justin Davis provided when my husband passed away. Now I need to sign up with National Cremation Service myself.
When our mother passed away in Cape Coral no family member was living in Florida. I and a brother live in Minnesota, another in California. Mom had a contract with National Cremation that I had updated over the years but it was going to be a long distance management of her arrangements. Fortunately, Jeffery Testerman answered my call. Jeffery was professional, competent, patient and courteous as he guided me through the process, requirements, and completion of forms I had never seen. Throughout this experience, we were in very good hands with Jeffery Testerman
I lost my husband on 7/24/18, I went to a National and was taken care of by Gloria Yanni. I can only say she helped me like I was the broken person I was. My husband’s services were absolutely beautiful. If I had to do this, then I need to thank Gloria for making it as easy as possible.
After our son passed away last month (July 2018) my wife & I contacted Dena Manis at Clearwater, Fl. for cremation services. Ms' Manis was very professional and caring and greatly assisted us during the most traumatic time of our lives. She did not try to oversell the services or options and she made the process a lot easier than it could have been. At a very difficult time for us, she was the one who understood and explained the... My Dad just passed a few days ago and Jeffrey Testerman was phenomenal. My Mom and Dad paid for cremation services in 2014. The paperwork was easy and he did not try to push any "extras" on my Mom. I can’t say enough kind words for this man. He even added a little humor in a tasteful way. THANK YOU!
I can't begin to express the kindness and understanding given to me by Karen Taylor at the National Cremation Society of Sarasota. She took the time to thoroughly explain everything to me so I could understand it clearly. It was wonderful to have someone make this difficult time so much more pleasant
Carl ** was very nice to work with, He came once and we asked him to come back another day as we wanted to talk about cost and process. Carl came back a week later and we closed the deal. The real test will be when there is a death and one of us will see if the plan lives up to its claims. We liked the price and payment plan. We are dealing with funeral arrangement now with a family member and we don't want our survivors to have to deal with the cost and hassle.
My mother did a setup with National Cremation and she did like the way that she could set up her final wishes ahead of time and make the process a little bit easier for me. I’m very appreciative of their services and it really helped our family. Everybody in Largo, on East Bay, was extremely wonderful and compassionate during that really horrible time. From the moment we arrived, Ron made us feel very warm and welcomed. He was not at all being a salesman, who is very soft-spoken and very nice. He made my dad look so so good. The service was very nice and very intimate, and just close family. We did not feel any bit rushed out of there, even though there probably was a time limit. The whole experience went very nicely. We got the death certificates, and the urns very quickly. I would highly recommend this place. It was a great experience. I did not think with a cremation there ever could even have a viewing of your loved one. It felt very nice to see my dad look so good one more time. Ron did an excellent job!
Very Nice and caring experience after the passing of our Mother. Ron was so caring and kind to me and my brother who flew in from California. He and the team partners from office receptionist to guy who helped out at mom's funeral and loaded her coffin to the hearse did an over the top A+ Job. So Kind and very respectful! I would recommend them to anyone in need of this service.
Initially, I came just to try out the restaurant and get the free meal. I had absolutely no intention of getting a cremation. After listening to the Representative and a few of the stories people in the audience were stating I realized that my brother who has a fairly high income might just get duped by some conman after I died because he would be in an emotional state of mind. I then knew that I had to take care of this myself to save my family from getting conned by some shyster.
The respect & dignity that was used talking about a delicate subject was wonderful. Also no pressure. It was all about what we wanted. M ** listened & answered our questions. Thank you for the thoughtful kind way this was handled.
There is nothing negative for me to report. We visited a seminar to discuss our final arrangements and I decided, to proceed with the plan for cremation at the time of my passing. My wife has still not decided what she wants to do. The company representative was extremely professional and personable.
Jeffrey, Thank you so much for all you have done. We recently had need of your company's service with the passing of my father followed by my mother 21 days later. The quality of service provided to our family from your company and your employee, Mr. Michael Weakland are to be commended. We will recommend National Cremation & Burial Society to our friends and family and stress the importance of prior coordination for these issues. Such quality of work and sincerity cannot be underestimated to the families you work with.
I can’t give enough praise for the service that I received from Justin Davis in my time of need. Justin went above and beyond my expectations. The service I received was exceptional and gave me a piece of mind.
Ronny made it a pleasant experience during a hard time. I would recommend this place.
The staff here is very caring, Mr.Davis gave exceptional service to make sure my family was well taken care of and made our experience worthwhile as we were going through our mourning of our loved one. I definitely recommend...If it had more than 5stars I would choose it!
Great service! We chose to have Mr. Davis perform at the funeral. Not only was our experience with this location wonderful, so was the sax solo.
The staff was considerate and kind. I told Mr. Davis that Amazing Grace was a favorite hymn, and he was kind enough to play it for is during the service.
Excellent service! I most certainly recommend.
Would highly recommend!
The staff was very professional and compassionate. Mr. Davis took excellent care of us. He also blessed us with an excellent saxophone solo during the service.
Took excellent care of a close friend. Would recommend!
My mother made the after death arrangements many years before her recent passing. National Cremation Service picked up the body, performed the cremation and made the arrangements to have the body delivered to the cemetery in New York State. National Cremation also arranged for the obituaries to be placed as I had requested. Indira Lugo oversaw all of these arrangements and kept me informed every step of the way. I would highly recommend National Cremation and especially Indira for both the early planning and the not so pleasant task of putting a loved one to rest.
I would personally like to thank Brendan Barry for his professionalism and compassion during a very difficult time. My parents purchased their cremation "package" several decades ago and I was somewhat expecting to be waved off when my mother passed because of the pre-payment at the much lesser rates. That did not happen! I was treated with concern, respect, and professionalism. My concerns and needs were addressed and I was made to feel that my business was just as appreciated as any current client. Caring, sensitive staff. Made cremation preparations as easy as possible under the circumstances. No hard sell on products, however a beautiful array of prayer cards, guest book packages, jewelry and other remembrances of a loved one available.
My family recently worked with Pauline Grossnickle at the Port Charlotte facility. I was impressed with her expertise and compassion and given a short time frame to make arrangements, with her willingness to arrange her schedule to meet our needs. The entire staff was professional and kind. Everything happened exactly as Pauline had indicated it would, and I would recommend this office to anybody looking for cremation services for self or loved ones.
My dad passed in 2001 and my mom and I elected to call National Cremation to handle his cremation. Within weeks mom prearranged her cremation. Nobody gets out alive, as they say, and in June we had to call National to take care of her needs. The wife and I will be making our arrangements soon and will be calling on National to help make those decisions. Thanks to Brendan for making us comfortable when signing the papers for my mother's cremation and all the associated paperwork in dealing with the Bay Pines National Cemetery and the S.S. etc.
Extremely courteous and timely. Helped take care of lots of loose ends we didn't know we had. Highly recommend!
My grandmother pre-arranged her cremation and when she passed away last month the process to have her cremated was very easy. Lori Banes helped me every step of the way and was professional, very kind, and compassionate. Thank you for making this an easy process.
My fathers passing was very unexpected as we were not prepared with arrangements and I was totally lost as to what to do. However, Korrey was extremely sympathetic and compassionate and helpful. She made herself available to me and call me back right away whenever I had any needs. This was my first experience with your company and I can say I will recommend you to others and keep you in mind in the future.
Lori Barnes was my first contact person, She was professional, personal, and made me feel I was in good hands for the preparation and resolve of my sister's passing. All the staff was very comforting and I felt they had my best interest for my loved one in mind through every stage. The best thing they held my hand from beginning to the end. I appreciated everything that was done for the cremation of my sister.

Lori Banes from National Cremation Society is absolutely amazing! At a time when I was trying really hard to hold it together, she was with me through the entire journey. From the first call about my father passing to set up his burial I knew I had I was in good hands and so was my father. I can't thank her enough for all of the work she has done to help me. A true asset!!
I was treated with so much kindness and compassion by the people at National Cremation Society that the grief and discomfort of the death of my father were softened. They explained everything to me thoroughly and responded to my special requests efficiently and thoughtfully. I'm glad we trusted them during this difficult time.
When my brother passed away, the Arrowhead Hospital gave us a list of cremation centers where we can take the body. I was very comfortable working with them and they didn’t try and push things on us. They understood what we were going through. Their rep asked us about everything else we needed and she emailed all the stuff. But we knew we were not going to have a service for him and we just had him cremated. And since I just buried my mom two years prior to that, I was already accustomed to what we were going to be going through but they were very, very helpful. I was happy we dealt with them.
The National Cremation team is speedy. I'm very comfortable talking with them and we had fantastic interactions. It was a pleasant experience and I didn’t have to worry about anything. It was taken care of and I was completely satisfied.
My father just passed and Drew at the Hudson office was amazing! Wendy and Becca were very warming anytime I called in to pester Drew. Drew did everything for me form getting his service site changed to helping with understanding all the long words and wording we could not understand. I would 100% recommend National Cremation Society for anyone's unfortunate needs. Rachel M.
Nice facility and best services. Customer service was awesome, respective staff members. The Manager Korrey Personett is very responsible and having an outstanding personality !!
The people at National Cremation were very professional and friendly. It is one of the hard times when someone passes, but they were very helpful. If they needed anything additional, they contacted us. They let us know everything we needed up front. It was very smooth and professional. I appreciate their help and there were no hiccups. It was very nice to deal with a company like this. I learned about them from a friend who had an experience with them.
Joe ** is a tremendous asset to National Cremation. As a former entrepreneur/business owner, Joe brings a host of professional skills to the table that inures to the benefit of your organization and its clients. Joe exemplifies "The Golden Rule" in action in the business setting. Without wasted motion or time, Joe expertly helped my wife and I acquired our Cremation Certificates. It was a pleasure to meet with Joe.
Very much satisfied with the National Cremation Society Program. Just what we wanted and needed at a most affordable price. Our salesperson is very knowledgeable and professional in conducting business with company clientele. Highly recommended to those in need.
The agent (Ron **) was most professional, helpful, understanding, and most thorough in securing my contract. I greatly appreciated the "non-over-aggressive sales approach", but rather a sincere-concerning future planning approach. All was completed in a most timely and accurate manner with written confirmations.
It is such a comfort to have this part of our estate planning done. It is a relief for our children do not have to think about this when the time comes that it is needed. Your sales representative was polite and respectful in all ways. There was no pressure to purchase although it was made clear that doing at the time of his presentation was desirable.
Your representative Renae ** was very patient, explained things well and allowed us to ask questions. We were pleased with the quick way we received the urns. Thank you very much for providing a convenient solution for this need.
When dealing with a family member's death, the last thing you want to deal with is difficult decisions. However, the National Cremation Society was extremely kind, helpful, calm and compassionate. Dena was professional and wonderful and helped guide me through the process. I would highly suggest using their services. It is a kindness to your family members to leave them in the very capable hands of the NCS.
Lory and Maria are very helpful and provide us a very good service. They made the difficult situation much easier for us. Both did a great job! Thank you very much! Christian & Uli from Germany
Dealing with the details of my Husband's death is the hardest thing I have ever had to do. Jeffrey Testerman and the staff at National Cremation Society helped to make the process extremely comfortable. The compassion and professionalism showed impressed, not only myself but my family members that assisted me. We were all pleased with the respectful, relaxing and compassionate way we were treated.
I used the National Cremation services for my father in 2012 and recently for my mother. Lori Barnes was an excellent service provider helping us successfully thru the full process and having the remains delivered to Upstate NY for burial services. Thank You.
Daren with National Cremation did an outstanding job. He treated our family with care and compassion. He explained every step and how the process would take place. Daren maintained contact through phone calls and email as my father moved through the process. Thank you so very much.
You never think your older brother is going to pass away suddenly to aggressive lung-cancer but that's exactly what happened. I reached out to Josh at National Cremation Services and he made everything happen quickly and as painlessly as possible. I will never forget how kind, compassionate he was. Thank you, Josh.
Joshua, Thank you for your professionalism, sincerity, kindness, gentleness, understanding, and compassion to our unique needs and situation. I will forever be thankful.
National Cremation and Burial was professional and passionate about helping me with the passing of my wife Indira Lugo was the director and made The process stressless as possible thank you
From start to finish, our experience was the first rate. It was such a comfort to know that everything was taken care of in a dignified and compassionate manner. I plan to have my own funeral arrangements handled through National Cremation Society.
Many years ago as the guardian for my brother, one of the court-appointed tasks was to make the final arrangements for my brother. Barbara went over and above to help us in every way to get the service planned and arranged. We held the service at the Bee Ridge facility and everyone was spot on. David was most kind to arrange a large number of artistic renderings and memory boards for us. Michael (location manager) stuck right with us when I locked keys in the rental vehicle, all the way making sure we were being taken care of by AAA. The facility is clean, calming and well cared for. My entire family and dear friends of my brother are most grateful for the services provided. Thank you, Barbara, Michael, and David for all that you did for us.
Friends of ours worked with National Cremation & Burial Society and we've been a member for probably eight years now. I was very satisfied with them because the first time that I talked to them, I went ahead and joined them. And then a year later, my husband did as well. They were very helpful and very considerate and they answered a lot of questions.

It was very important to us that we didn’t feel like we were being given a sales pitch at that time, with what we were going through, and it was refreshing and satisfying to not feel in any way pressured.
My parents were members of National Cremation and had already gone through the pre-planning. Their team was very smooth and easy to deal with and I just picked up the ashes. My husband and I were visiting Florida and we saw a National Cremation ad in a newspaper. We've talked about cremation so I made an appointment. We loved the presentation and signed up for it. It was everything we were looking for. I liked the opportunity to make payments with their pre-plan services. Sometime after my husband and I joined and started making our payments, we were staying at our son's home for a vacation and my daughter-in-law's grandmother and step-grandfather were there and I told them about National Cremation and they also became members. Sometime after my husband and I joined and started making our payments, we were staying at our son’s home for a vacation and my daughter-in-law’s grandmother and step-grandfather were there and I told them about National Cremation and they also became members. In 2017, my daughter-in-law’s grandmother passed away and she was picked up by somebody from the National Cremation.
Then on the 19th of April, I was with my daughter-in-law’s step-grandfather when he passed away at my son’s home and the National Cremation was called and from the moment their two young representatives arrived in minutes after they left, I couldn’t have been more pleased and more proud of the way he was treated. They made the bed after they put him on their gurney, so when we walked back into the bedroom, it wasn’t visualized where he died. The way those two young men came and presented themselves, their dress and their personality were wonderful. And I have told numerous people just how wonderful the whole thing was.
The National Cremation rep came to our house and she was tremendous. Her name was Tanya and she was very professional and she kept communicating with us throughout the whole process. It was our first time doing it and we didn't know how long it was gonna take. She got back to us very promptly and she was very, very diligent. I do the National Cremation pre-planning services online. It's nice that the plan is all taken care of, all paid for, and there's nothing to worry about. It's easy for the family to deal with. They were excellent.
Amazing service, had service done for my grandmother and it was one of the best experiences I've had, dealing with this kind of situation. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a kind/helpful staff to help with your loss. They took special time and care to deal with my families needs.
Daren Dreiling and his staff at National Cremation Society of Henderson, NV were just wonderful in helping us. We had to travel across the country and make arrangements for my aunt & had limited time to take care of everything. These folks went above and beyond to expedite the process and to help us get arrangements made as easily and quickly as possible. They were also great about explaining the steps, the legal requirements, etc. and made time to return calls and answer all of our questions. I HIGHLY recommend them!
The folks at the National Cremations Society were kind, helpful and above all- so very sweet to our family- when my Dad passed unexpectedly. Lori answered all of our questions, took care of the necessary arrangements and followed through on all things she had committed to providing. During such a sad time full of turmoil and tons of things to take care of, Lori was so compassionate and made a difficult time more bearable due to her fantastic service.
My husband was killed in a horrible automobile accident, but I knew his wishes and received kind and considerate attention from National Cremation. Michelle gave us her complete attention and walked us through each step of the process. She ordered the death certificates and took care of as much as she could for me. All of this was done with compassion and concern for me and my children. I would gladly recommend your service to anyone.
Our entire family is grateful to National Cremation and Burial Society in North Ft. Myers and especially to Joshua Shook. Last year, Joshua's kindness helped so much in the details of our father's death (John R. Fritz). He not only walked us gently through the cremation process, but he worked with the National Veterans' Cemetery in Sarasota to provide a touching and solemn military service for Dad's internment. We called Joshua again this year when our mother, Martha L. Fritz died. Once more, Joshua's kindness in discussing the details provided us with information and a sense that we were not... Read More

My experience with National Cremation was great. I wanted things as simple as possible and as clear cut as possible. Things worked out just the way I wanted... the way my husband would have wanted. Everyone was polite, caring and positive. I was impressed.
Was very impressed by the professionalism and courtesy shown to me by the staff at the Sarasota office. Karen was so helpful in guiding me through the process of handling my father's final arrangements. I am so grateful for her assistance and emotional support. It was an excellent experience.
In my time of need, the National Cremation Society was there for me with a quick response when called Upon. Ms. Lori Banes was my connection. She took charge and handled every detail. She made my burden less stressful. For that I am grateful. Thank you, Lori Banes, I would recommend your company to everyone.
Abby Schilling went above and beyond helping my mom and our family after my father's death. She answered every question patiently, professionally and with compassion. She personally hands delivered the remains and to my mom and treated her very kindly. I live 800 miles away from my parents so this treatment and care were greatly appreciated. I highly recommend them. Thank you, Abby, C.Withers
Losing a loved one is the hardest experience to go through. Drew and the staff at National Crematorium were caring, calm and great listeners. If you have to suffer a loss the last thing you want is pushy people trying to tell you what to do. This is not the way Drew and the staff are. I can't say enough about the service we received. Thank you, Drew and NCS for helping to ease the pain.
Thank you, Maryann McConnell, for helping my family implement my dad's wishes of cremation. You extremely helpful answering all our questions and understanding of our wants and needs.
My parents used them and they made it very easy for me. Thank you for being so kind
Our family would like to thank Daren and his team for their great service and professionalism during our difficult time. Daren treated us with the utmost care and was wonderfully accommodating to our family. Thank you so much.
My wife died suddenly 3 years ago after a surgery. My son in law found National Cremation Society after first calling 2 other places that made him feel like he was dealing with a used car salesman. National Cremation Society was the first rate in every way. Last January my late wife's 101-year-old mother died and I did not think twice. I called National Cremation Society. No pressure, no pushy sales tactics. Just respectful and honest treatment. They take very good care of the client in the worst time of his life. Thank you, National Cremation Society
Thank you, Linda, for all your help with the passing of our brother. They were very understanding and caring and kept us informed of their process and time frame. They did not put any pressure on us to add "additional" services to cremation. Thank you again.
All the staff at National cremation were kind, compassionate and helpful. Able to answer all my questions during a difficult time and even able to assist with the purchase of prepaid cremation for the spouse. Dena handled all needs and followed up with every detail. Prices for additional items were better than able to find elsewhere. Have dealt with this location on many occasions and would recommend them to anyone needing this service.
Their kindness and passion for what they do are endearing! I love knowing that there is the perfect person to help me when I need it. Thank you, Justine, for being a caring resource and always available when I have questions!
I was very pleased with The National Cremation Society. Tanya Parker was very compassionate and professional in helping me with my father's cremation. She explained everything and took care of all the details. Also, she communicated with me daily which was so comforting during such a difficult time. I would definitely recommend your company to anyone seeking a cremation.
The service and support that our family received from Barbara Kallevig and the staff at National Cremation Society were outstanding. At an obviously difficult time, it really helped to be treated with dignity and respect and at the same time with efficiency and professionalism. I particularly liked how we were informed of the many products and services offered but in a way that was not aggressive or persistent; instead, it was informative and helpful. Overall the entire process was handled in an excellent manner and the entire experience was pleasant and productive.
Carrie was so helpful and efficient. She handled all the details of my mother’s arrangements and I never had to do a thing. So helpful at a difficult time!
I found the services of National Cremation Service in Niles, IL, to be absolutely outstanding. Both Brandon Best and Darlene Matos are consummate professionals. They are welcoming, knowledgeable, and compassionate. In addition, the fees are, comparatively speaking, quite reasonable.
I and my son, David and my Daughter, Lesley were given full attention and everyone dealt with us in a caring and compassion manner. I also felt they were competent and helpful.
National Cremation made the whole process seamless. I am so grateful that my father purchased a pre-paid policy. It took only one phone call to NCS when he passed. They took care of everything moving forward. Lori Banes of the North Palm Beach office was kind, caring and professional. My spouse and I were so impressed with the service that we purchased pre-paid policies for ourselves. Thank you, Lori, for taking such care of Dad and us.
I have had the need to use National Cremation three times in the last 5 years. My mom, my son, and recently, my dad. They were all cremated and as devastated as you are with facing the death of a loved one, they are there to comfort and assist with any issues that may arise. Each time they went through each step and verified all the information. Tanya was the last person I worked with and she was professional in every way with a kind and reassuring way. I would highly recommend National Cremation to anyone! Thank you for everything!
I have been very impressed with the compassion and care demonstrated by the staff of National Cremation. Three times they have assisted in the arrangements for loved ones. Always, without exception, they have demonstrated the high standard of care they set for themselves. I could not ask for better service.
Friends of ours had signed up for the National Cremation services years ago and we signed up in 2010. It made sense because we like to travel and didn't want to cause people trouble. Signing up with National Cremation is a very thoughtful thing to do for my family and friends. There weren't very many cremation service providers and one didn't hear very much about cremation a decade ago. The Hemlock Society and folks like that bothered me that that was a little too far off-the-beaten-path and yet Hemlock and National Cremation are joined now. Nevertheless, National Cremation was a... It took one phone call to pre-plan my cremation. It was a surprise but at least I knew the immediate issues were gonna get taken care of and would be done well. The first call was a little awkward because I had to call the Florida office and we were in Colorado, so I woke somebody up. But National Cremation got in touch with people here in Colorado and I only dealt with one person the entire time. He was really great and he was a fully trained mortician. And it wasn’t just the matter of taking care of the after services because he knew everything that went on and how to explain things. He was very empathetic but not sickeningly so and he was really nice. I recommend National Cremation all the time.
When a loved one dies unexpectedly, planning a funeral is extremely difficult. What made my situation even worse was that I lived out of state. Patrick Griffin helped me through every step of the way with kindness, compassion and true professionalism. I am eternally grateful to Patrick!!
We heard about National Cremation & Burial Society from a neighbor across the street and they were highly recommended. When my daughter went there and spoke with Lorrie, she was very pleased with the facility and what Lorrie told her. I have dealt with Lorrie on the phone and through email but my daughter who did all the legwork is very particular and she had nothing but good things to say about her. After my dad’s health was down, my father and mother looked into cremation, and they went to one of National Cremation's seminars. I started dealing with Indira and she was at the crematorium. She came out and made special plans with my mom. She and my mom signed up also. National Cremation was awesome. The box that we got the urn was very pretty. Everybody was thoughtful and it wasn’t like everything was being pushed on us, what’s in time and important, especially we had enough stuff going on at that time. I had an amazing experience with National Cremation and I was very happy with it. It was very smooth and efficient. There were no surprises. I really enjoyed the process, especially for how difficult of a time it was for us. After I pay some of my bills, I’m gonna try to do it for myself. I’m a previous veteran. So, they said they would arrange me being buried at the veteran cemetery, and they would take care of all that for me. That would make it easier for my wife when I pass.

Steve and the staff were so professional and treated our family with respect. They were very comforting and was able to help us through this process at a very difficult time. They were able to answer our questions and make helpful recommendations. Thank you.

I was put in contact with the North Palm Beach Florida office of the National Cremation Society and was provided outstanding service and compassion by the location manager Lori Banes and her assistant Maria. I was under a lot of stress as I flew in from Massachusetts and although I needed to return to work, I wanted to fly back with my Dad’s ashes.
Lori answered every email promptly and with the updated status I needed on the proceedings. She reflects great compassion and understanding in her emails and phone calls. All contact with Lori’s assistant Maria were pleasant and helpful as well.
I could not have asked for better assistance during this emotional and stressful time.
Thank you so much, Brendan, for your gentle warmth and caring in the most difficult moment of my life. You eased the emotions of my whole family. We are sincerely grateful for your kindness.
The staff was very cordial and helpful at a time in our family's life.

On April 19, 2018, Mr. Church passed away in my son’s home, with many of us being by his side. After the hospice nurse came to pronounce his passing the National Cremation Society was called. My heart and mind are still overjoyed with the care and respect our dear friend received from the two men that came to retrieve his body 💕 They were dressed in black dress pants and soft blue long sleeve dress shirts, kind of matched our feelings. They spoke soft and kind and respectful. One of the men filled out paperwork and talked to family members kind of kept us busy while the other gentleman prepared our loved one to be removed from the home. We were asked if Mr. Church was a veteran and we said yes, we were then told there would be an American flag draped over the body from his chest down, the two men brought our loved one from his bedroom into the living room , face uncovered, the rest of his body was covered with a beautiful blue soft blanket, a small bouquet of flowers were placed under the blanket near his shoulder, and his body was draped in an American flag. We were offered to take as much time as we neede to say our goodbyes, when we were done with our goodbyes the men removed a section of the blue blanket that had been tucked under our loved ones head and covered his head ever so gently, the two men then took the gurney out our front door and placed it in a beautiful white vehicle, we were told the vehicles’ soft flashing lights would remain on until they were out of the neighborhood. The entire procedure was awesome. I am very happy to know my husband and I will be treated so kindly.
This is a wonderful place. Drew was thorough, compassionate and understanding with us. We have decided to set up both of our cremations through National Cremation Society. This way all the decisions will be already made. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing cremation services.
Our dealings were with Michele Carnes and were most pleasant under the circumstances. She was very understanding and explained everything in an understanding way. The details were handled in a very understanding way and efficiently. Every detail was friendly and businesslike. A BIG thank you, Michele. VRFulk & family
I thank Michael Weakland for the service and kindness he gave to me during this very difficult time. I was alone making the plans for my husband of 54 years and he made me feel like family and found it to be very comforting during this time.
My family had an excellent experience with Abby Schilling. My uncle chose this company for his prepaid cremation. When I called to let Abby know of his passing, she was instantly helpful, kind, and accommodating. She has the heart to help families during this incredibly difficult time. I would like to totally endorse Drew. He was so helpful and guided me thru this whole process. He was knowledgeable, kind and considerate. I would whole-hardheartedly recommend Drew and this location.
Lori, I could not say enough good things about you and your services. I definitely feel I got exceptional service from you, especially with the respect you showed my mother when talking to me about what was going on. So much so I want to get a plan for myself now. Thank you very much.
My discussion with Quintin ** gave me the knowledge I needed to make a decision I was hesitant about. He presented everything professionally and thoroughly. He answered all my questions. I feel secure that my family won't have to make decisions that are difficult at the time of death.
Mr. Chris ** was very very good at handling me and my son, Howard, I could not ask for anyone better who was so passionate and caring. It was such a pleasure dealing with him. It made arrangements run smoothly at a time of grieving. I was very happy that I picked your company.
I was very pleased with the recent purchase of my cremation services! It is comforting knowing that all my family has to do with my death is make one phone call and everything is taken care of, to include the expenses involved!
I was treated respectfully by the entire staff, especially Jeffrey **, who thoroughly explained all the options available in a clear, concise manner. In no way did I ever feel pressured into purchasing services I did not desire. I was promptly kept informed throughout the process.
The National Cremation staff was very courteous and understanding with our loss. They helped with my Father's final wishes to be cremated. Michelle couldn't have been nicer explaining what we needed to do. Many thanks to her.
Excellent company to deal with. I highly recommend them. Gloria ** in Port Charlotte, Florida - Excellent. Was caring, compassionate, explained everything - made us feel good. Even my daughters were very impressed.

Joshua, a very nice personality, and calming influence in a very difficult time were professional and caring. He explained everything I was doing and the reason for it and made the whole visit very easy. He has been quick to respond to any and all questions I have had, and I have found the whole cremation process very easy. National Cremation Society is a very well organized and professional organization, and I would recommend them to anyone needing this kind of service.
Even though I live in another part of the state, the service received by Indira Lugo for my family member was personal, always helpful, and consistent throughout our communications. I very much appreciate her professionalism and follow-up on all stages of the pre- and post-cremation process. Thank you
Indira was very nice and professional.I will recommend National Cremation in Ruskin, Fl. To friends. Annette C. Wimauma, Fl.
Lori Banes and her staff (Maria) were beyond helpful during my Dad's passing and transition. We were treated with respect and love during the planning process of cremation. Lori muddled through some difficulties with my Dad's various names from the military over his 89 1/2 years. She helped us with prayer cards, specific urns and the placement of his cremains is different vessels for family members. Lori went above her required duties as a funeral director. We are very grateful.
Michael Weakland was GREAT. When we met with him he was professional, comforting and prepared for the information and to answer all our questions. He kept in touch with us during the process. We went with him to the National Cemetry which he arranged. Everything took place perfectly and at the times specified...Our thanks to Mike because he must have worked extremely hard to do that g

I like the convenience of the preplanned service. It also saved some money in the long run. I would certainly recommend National Cremation to anybody. The facility in Largo, Florida could use some updating and some thorough cleaning, which I told the director that I worked with. It was not as clean as I would have liked. It was pleasant, but a little on the shabby side.
My parents, who are both deceased, pre-arranged with the National Cremation Society almost 30 years ago. This made the process for me much easier. When my mother who died recently, they contacted me to set up an appointment to finalize all the details. They took care of all the paperwork and anything else I requested them to do. They were very professional and comforting.
My dad chose to be cremated and that was one of his wishes so mom followed up on it. They went with National Cremation. My dad passed away in January and it was a busy time. There were lots of questions and things going on and my mom’s memory was not so great. She forgot where payment was at and she thought she had paid things when she hadn’t. There were extra phone calls to try and iron out the summary of her bill. And more recently, when an update to the computer program took place, few plans were set... Read More

There were extra phone calls to try and iron out the summary of her bill. And more recently, when an update to the computer program took place, few plans were set off in the automatic electronic withdrawal banking and my mom was one of them. I was a little bit confused by it because I thought it was electronic withdrawal. Then she couldn’t find the invoice and didn’t even know about it. I called them back to iron it out and they were very helpful. Every single phone call was very helpful.
My mother had a contract with National Cremation Society and she gave me the card. She passed away in October this past year and they did a wonderful job. They took care of everything and my brother and I didn’t have to do a thing. Everybody has been very courteous.
During difficult times and sorrow, there is nothing more rewarding than meet people as Matthew Stage. His service is outstanding. He really demonstrated care and empathy about our heart's broken and needs. The TV in the room makes a huge difference. The TV made us focus on the good memories that we will keep always in our hearts and make us forget the moment we were passing through. Thank you Matthew Stage. I highly recommend you and your funeral home. You really make a difference!
It was a pleasure working with the service manager, Maryann **. She was professional, personable, and empathetic. She made a difficult situation easier to deal with. Choosing National Cremation Society was a good decision.
The service our family received was excellent. Tanya was professional, courteous and caring. All of our questions and concerns were answered honestly. Everything that was supposed to be done was accomplished with alacrity and no additional stress was put upon us.
Everyone I came in contact with in the Sarasota Fl office was caring and very professional especially MJ Happel. She helped to make my aunt's final arrangements so much easier. You could tell she was a very caring and knowledgeable employee and knew the right things to say to the bereaving family. Thank you, MJ for all your help.
Top notch. Took care of everything perfectly.
I met with Dena Manis to arrange for the cremation of my brother. She was very compassionate and professional and answered all of my questions. My particular situation left me very little time and Dena was able to complete everything in a very timely manner. Dena is an excellent representative for this office and I would highly recommend it.
We had chosen National Cremation Services because my Grandparents had chosen them years ago for their final wishes. I had contracted through the Florida office who put me in in touch with a local Funeral Home at the time of my Mothers passing. After a bit of confusion, Patrick Griffin contacted me from the local NCS Niles, Illinois office, not far from our home. He was able to smooth everything out. Patrick Griffin handled all of the details in the most professional manner. He helped me to write a beautiful obituary. He made sure that the urns we selected were delivered. He oversaw that all of the paperwork was completed and submitted promptly so that our Mothers remains were able to be at her memorial service (it was only a few days). We were touched.
We highly recommend the personal service that Patrick Griffin gave to our family and the caring nature of everyone involved at National Cremation Services. On a scale of 10, they go to 11! God Bless them.
Lori is the most compassionate, professional and kind funeral director I've ever met. She assisted my family during the loss of my father. Her kindness and patience with my family were beyond measure. She gave my family comfort through the whole process. She was a blessing and a gift to us during a very difficult time. Truly a diamond!
They handled both of my parents and my family and I were very happy. The woman who handled it was Korrey ** and she was amazing! She made the whole thing very easy and non-stressful. I so very much appreciate all her help and kindness.
We had a very good experience. Everything was handled on a timely basis and with the utmost professionalism. Ms. Lori ** was kind and courteous and explained the process. Exceptional service and great people.
Drew, Tanya, and Wendy were caring, compassionate and supportive to me after the loss of my 95-year-old mother. They were all very professional and everything related to my mom's event was treated with the utmost respect. Thanks to everyone.
We met your representative at Overture Grand Oaks, Sarasota FL. She was very compassionate, informed and experienced. She related very well to her listeners. Very professional. We met with her privately that afternoon and signed up.
Our appointment with Mr. ** was perfect. He respected our input and answered our questions honestly and openly. We are very happy with our decision to commit to cremation as our final act in this life with National Cremation Society. Our urns are beautiful.
National Cremation and Burial were so caring and helpful. I truly felt that they cared about my husband and took the utmost respect and care for him. Indira was so caring and helped me and my family with all the arrangements. She personally bought my husband's ashes to me. She handled him with great care and dignity. I recommend them to anyone who wishes to be cremated. Ask for Indira Lugo. She is an angel to me.
My family and I are truly grateful for the amazing care and service we received from Lori Banes during a sad and difficult time. Lori was so genuine and compassionate, she felt like a friend who was sharing the process with me. She took care of everything that needed to be done so smoothly and efficiently. My sweetheart’s service was beautiful. I am so glad to have had Lori to share this part of life’s journey with, she not only took care of my sweetheart but took great care of me.
I can only express gratitude toward Ms. Lori Banes at the National Cremation Society. After my fathers passing, I asked Ms. Lori Banes of the National Cremation Society (NCS) for assistance and she helped I and my other family members work through the processes required to arrange the cremation. She followed up to keep using up to date of the work being conducted. I will recommend the NCS if asked about whom to contact if they show an interest.
Brent was caring and helpful. The experience with National Cremation Society (Neptune) was complete without any problems. There were no problems at all.
My mother passed away on February 16, 2018. She had arranged and prepaid for her funeral services and cremation through the National Cremation Burial Society (NCBS) in Ruskin, FL. My father recently passed away. The staff at the National Cremation in Sarasota was so kind and understanding during this difficult time. Karen E. Baquedano has been attentive to all our needs. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in the Sarasota area.
I am most grateful for the kind and compassionate support offered to me when planning my parents funeral. Lisa Lustig was most accommodating, and considerate, carefully explaining each step of the process, assisting me with difficult decisions and explaining each aspect of the planning process in clear, professional terms. She was thorough with each detail of planning. It was a pleasure to work with her. When my husband was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease 2011, I know I had to face that end was inevitable. We had both decided on cremation several years before. My husband passed away last month. The National Cremation Society handled the necessary procedures excellently. My only cost was to the county for death certificates.
I highly recommend the company and urge facing the death of a loved one ahead of time, while one’s mind is unfettered by grief. My boys both thanked me for preparing ahead.
Michael Weakland helped me and our family through a very difficult and stressful time with consistent kindness, courtesy, and consideration. He handled every request immediately and attended to every detail. We thank him and recommend him wholeheartedly.
thank you from the bottom of my heart Gloria was very kind and caring
These people helped my family get through a really tough time. They were patient and attentive and most importantly, understanding. They made a highly stressful situation much easier to deal with for me.
If I could give a 10 star, I would. I then met with MJ Happel and she was so kind and made things so very easy to proceed with the business of cremation and filling out of forms. Had planned on just having 6 members of the family for a private service, but so many had asked if there was a memorial, could they come. So proceeded with those plans. In the meantime, had decided that YES….would have taps and folding of the flag. Won’t go into detail, but had a bump in the road, and these plans just seemed impossible to implement. Well…MJ Happel worked many long and hard hours to make this happen and finally found an honor guard in the area and persuaded them to stay and come to do Dads memorial. Had 40 friends and family and after the very wonderful service inside the church, moved outside to bury Dads ashes at their memorial garden, beside my mothers. Then the Taps and folding of the flag. Oh my, I don’t think there was a dry eye amongst the whole crowd, all thanks to the dedication of MJ Happel (the funeral director). Just can’t thank her enough for making me proud of the service that Dad gave to our country. All because of her making all the effort to implement this. She is my hero!!
Thank you for a job well done.
I am so satisfied with the service provided by Jeff Dellatto and his team. Being out of state and not knowing what to do I was beside myself. Jeff walked me thru the process and made such a difficult time for me, so much easier. I felt so at ease with him and how he answered all my questions. Thank You, Jeff!!! I truly appreciated all you did for me.
Our family is very appreciative of the highly professional and caring services we received from the National Cremation and Burial Society in Ruskin. In particular, Mr. Weakland walked us through the process with a respectful calm and with thoughtful consideration for our concerns and needs. The required paperwork was handled efficiently and expeditiously.
This is the fourth time I have used National Cremation Society after the passing of a loved one. I have nothing but the greatest admiration for this company in every step of the process. Lori Barnes could not have been more helpful, professional or compassionate. Her guidance and excellent communication with us was exemplary and provided much comfort during a very difficult time. I could not recommend more highly.
I was the caregiver for a longtime elderly friend who had prepaid her cremation long ago. When I met with Matthew Brown to complete paperwork on her behalf, he was kind and caring and helped me organize a burial for her in the National Cemetery at Bay Pines. She was buried with full military honors as befits a World War II veteran. I have already made several recommendations to friends and will continue to do so whenever asked. I am grateful for their service.
The National Cremation Society has been wonderful to work with. All those we spoke and met with were respectful and comforting. Our questions and concerns were answered with care. Abby was amazing. She made sure that the details of transport all took place during an MN snowstorm which impacted our family flights and schedules.
The staff at National Cremation were exceptional. They expedited the death certificate since my brother and I do not live in Florida. Thank you!
My mom and stepfather took pre-paid for cremation close to 20 years ago and the National Cremation and Burial Society in Ruskin still had all of the records! My stepfather recently died and as his POA I had to take care of his final arrangements. Indira made this difficult process so easy for me. She is kind, patient, and professional. Thanks so much!
Mike made the whole process of my mother's recent passing very stress-free and comforting
My mother passed away unexpectedly and when I contacted Indira Lugo at the National Cremation Society she was very compassionate, professional and knowledgeable. She helped me thru the entire process and me very thankful and appreciative. I would highly recommend Indira Lugo at the Ruskin National Cremation Society.
Michael Weakland served our family with the passing of our mother in November of 2015 and most recently in January 2018 with our fathers passing. Michael was always available to answer our questions and never hurried us through any decision making. He was attentive to every detail and made sure that everything was as we wanted it to be for both services. We highly recommend Michael and sincerely thank him for his kind and patient assistance during our bereavement.
Very professional. All individuals that I dealt with were kind, patient and easy to talk with regarding this sad and unknown situation. Highly recommend.
The folks are very caring, compassionate and above board with everything. They took very good care of my mother and myself. I have no qualms giving them my highest recommendation.
I can not begin to tell you how wonderful Mr. Michael Weakland and National Cremation have been to me and my family! Michael was so amazing and patient. Walked me through every step of the way, since I have never gone through a death before. I highly recommend National Cremation. Going through the pain of losing a loved one is so hard and preparing for final arrangements is hard enough, but Michael helps me through every step of the way with so much kindness and patience. Thank you so much for everything Michael!

Our Family couldn't ask for a more professional and caring representative of the National Cremation Society, Ruskin then Indira Lugo. She was extremely respectful in meeting all our needs during the recent passing of my beloved Mother. No question went unanswered and there was no rush in the service provided. Indira's compassion and loving nature were greatly appreciated and needed during this sad time of loss.
Very helpful and empathetic, the process was simple and without any complication. They took time to listen and address our needs in a timely manner.
My husband passed away very suddenly and everyone was extremely kind. Jeffrey and staff took care of me like I was family. I would like to thank them all very much.
Abby Schilling was wonderful to work with. She was so very helpful in arranging my father's cremation and assisted our family in every step of the process. She was sensitive and compassionate and yet very professional.
Not easy saying goodbye to my daughter Karen, but Robin Fisher made a very difficult process much easier than I expected. Very professional, competent and caring. Thanks, Robin.
Upon the passing of my Mother, I was numb. Jeffery Testerman was kind, professional and attentive. He took care of details and paperwork I hadn't thought about. He made the whole process of 'getting things done' stress-free for me. I appreciate him so much and would recommend him highly to care for you and your loved one. There is no one better.
With the passing of my brother Kevin, Indira Lugo was compassionate and helpful during this bereavement. She made sure that all my needs were met and kept in touch throughout this whole experience.
I wish to thank Drew Johnson and his staff members for their kindness and consideration in helping me and my oldest son, Randy with all the arrangements for my husband, Edward. Drew and Wendy were such a blessing to us and took great care in meeting all our needs. We so appreciated all that they did for us.
Very satisfied with the service and care expressed during the entire process. Thank you.
Micheal Weakland was very informative and caring when my mom passed away. I would recommend the National Cremation and Burial Service of Ruskin to anyone.
During a very hard time for my family, National cremations did an absolutely fantastic job! Treated my family with absolute respect, and dignity. Jeffrey Testerman was an absolute god sent. He went above, and beyond of what he really needed to do. Thank you, Jeffrey, for everything you did for my family. I would recommend National Cremations to anyone.
Great Decision!
Losing my mother was extremely difficult. I had zero clues what to do and how to go about arranging her services. Karen and David assisted me on all levels with true professionalism and care. They couldn’t have been more helpful and compassionate. They made an extremely challenging time go smoothly and I can not express in words how thankful I am to them. Karen and David you both are angels walking on the This earth. Thank you so very much.
My husband's father recently passed away, and National Cremation Society handled the arrangements. The funeral director, Tanya Parker was so professional and caring. She really took her time to make sure we understood everything going on during this very difficult time. We highly recommend National Cremation Society.
This is my second time using National Cremation Society. My parents had prepaid for this service 18 years ago. My first experience in 2010 at the death of my 92-year-old father was very disappointing and the woman I dealt with was not only insensitive but downright rude. After sharing with them my experience I did not even receive a callback. On December 19, 2017, when my mother died I called them again and braced for the worst. I never felt pressured to pay for items I did not need. I felt confident that she was looking out for my family needs and that she would make sure that the arrangements we were making were the right plan for my mother and our family. She is the best. You are in good hands with Lori.
After losing my father and being in a different state, the staff was very kind and helpful with taking care of his remains. They made it is so easy and mailed everything up to me at no extra charge. Every time that I have called them for something, they have been the greatest people that I have dealt with in any customer service fashion.
During this difficult time, we were managing the final arrangements for our aunt from a distance. The people at National Cremation Society of Sarasota realized this and could not have been more helpful. They were clearly sensitive to our loss and handled the arrangements with great compassion and efficiency.

My wife passed away due to pancreatic cancer last November. She told me to have a cremation service and that is how I met the terrific people at "National Cremation Society". They took such great care of myself & family and helped us with everything we needed for a smooth service. "Thank You" for everything you helped us with. Maryanne, you are a terrific person sent from heaven to help us through our time of need. Thank You so much. Sincerely, Thomas P.
Excellent professional and caring showed by Robin Fisher and Miranda. I felt very special by Robin and Miranda during the process taking place after the passing of my mother. They are wonderful and I highly recommend National Cremation to everyone. Explained all paperwork involved and answered all questions. Very caring cannot thank them enough.

It's a surprise that not one person has left a review for this business. I have used this locations service's twice. Both experiences were pleasant. The decorations and furniture in the building are dated but don't let that turn you away. I worked with Tanya both times, she was very empathetic and explained everything in detail and made the process easy and quick. The team at National Cremation Society is excellent.

My family and I had recent occasion to work with James Jackson Ward following the death of my father. Mr. Ward was extremely responsive and compassionate and helped the entire family navigate the cremation and scheduled burial service. His professionalism and decency have given us great comfort and an opportunity to do the things we need to do while trusting him to ensure that important details are taken care of. While we do not look forward to further loss, we will not hesitate to work again with Mr. Ward.
We appreciated such dedication from the entire staff at National Cremation Sarasota on Bee Ridge Rd in Florida. Karen was so compassionate and helpful with every aspect of our mothers viewing and cremation preparation. The location is very nicely decorated and calming also. We would recommend to anyone seeking a highly professional and compassionate staff
We have been extremely pleased with the compassion and caring guidance that we have experienced with your representative, Barbara Kallevig. Throughout this difficult process, she has been patient, informative and above all very thoughtful and understanding. Her organization with the planning process has given us time to make appropriate decisions for our loved one.
Robin Fisher and all the staff at the Oviedo location are consummate professionals who are a credit to their calling. You have taken care of our family for the second time and we cannot press our thanks adequately. Most of my family members are signed up with national Cremation secure in the knowledge that when our time comes they will take care of our families. Mike
From the moment I received a call from the National Cremation Society until the day I picked up my husbands ashes the compassion and support offered by Lori Banes and her staff was exceptional. They helped us cope with an incredibly difficult time. They were there whenever we called with a concern or a question and did everything in their power to lessen our burden. I would highly recommend them.
I'm 100% pleased

It was great to have a person who knows and anticipates every step of confusion, grief, and frustration when I was in shock and barely capable of doing any of the necessary duties following my husband’s death. He even made communicating with Fort Logan National Cemetary a painless process and the military ceremony went exactly as hoped. I hope that my family will have a " James" to help them through my death: having preplanned with Nat’l Cremation for my husband and me was a true blessing and I am ever so grateful for your guidance. I am about to embark on the Grief Counseling program and look forward to that being helpful.

My mother in law passed away on Thanksgiving Day. Lifepath Hospice called the National Cremation Society from the ALF where Mom lived the same day she died so we did not have to call initially! Michael Weakland called us the next day to give his condolences and ask when we could meet to help us. He showed compassion as well as the facts we needed to make decisions. Michael stated what services they offered, how many death certificates we might need, for example. He told us if we had any questions about the informational facts he gave us to call him and he would answer them. He has called us several times since meeting with us to check on us.
Lori Banes was wonderful to work with when my brother Trea passed away. She was kind and sweet to me throughout the entire process of making the funeral arrangements. She answered every question thoroughly and made sure I understood everything that was happening. It's a tough time, but Lori made it so easy and comfortable for me. We have used the NCS twice before, and we will be using them again. Thanks, Lori!
While it is inevitable that such arrangements must be made, they are never an easy thing to do. Knowing this, my Dad prearranged everything through this service ahead of time, certainly making things easier for us. When the time came, I was fortunate to have had Jefferey Testerman to walk me through. Jefferey is the consummate professional. I believe he truly understood the need for balance between getting the "job" done, which required urgency, expertise, and action, none of which I was equipped with at the time. I believe that Jefferey takes his role seriously and knows how important it is to navigate carefully. He made this potentially difficult and uncomfortable process about as painless and simple as I think it could have been. I am grateful for having drawn him to help us. He was truly helpful and of great value to me.
Sincerest thanks. Mike L.
Maryann McConnell deserves to be recognized as an outstanding asset to NCS, Bloomfield Hills, MI. She was so kind, patient and understanding of our wants and needs when it came time to implement my sister’s cremation plan. She made the whole process from start to finish and was always very concerned with how we were and asking was there anything else we might need. She made a very sad time for our family a lot less stressful. Thank you, Maryann!
I would like to commend Indira at the Ruskin office of NCS for her compassion and careful attention to detail after the death of my mother. My brother and I were comforted and impressed with the professional way she handled everything about the cremation. Her knowledge and reassurance helped us to feel that everything would be done the way our mother wanted it. We really appreciate her empathy.
My grandfather passed away and he had prearranged plans with his family and Tanya was perfect. The service was beautiful and personal and we felt no pressure when it came to hard decisions. His cremation was so personal and tailored to what we, and more importantly what he wanted.
I knew that making funeral arrangements for my husband would be a very painful task, but Stephan Barreto, at National Cremation in Oviedo, Fl., made the experience pain free. His compassion and understanding are to be commended. From start to finish, he was thorough and never made me feel the pain I felt in my heart. Thank you so much...I am so very grateful.
The staff is wonderful. When we first walked in, We felt our whole world had been taken away from us. Losing daddy took so much from me. I am thankful the process was easy and simple. Daddy had everything arranged before leaving us. I am thankful for the staff for their kindness and support throughout this difficult process.
Lost my husband on November 5, 2017. National Cremation was exceptional. From the gentlemen who came to my home to Drew and the other members of his team. The compassion they all gave to me was greatly appreciated. I can not express enough my thanks for the care they took with me and my husband at his passing.
I am most grateful to have had MJ to work with during this time; she is professional and patient and kind.
MJ and her staff were compassionate, prompt and attentive to our needs. Working with them was a breath of fresh air after dealing with other institutions and facilities. Thank you for doing your job...and doing it well MJ!
During a sad time in our lives, Lori Baines was a warm, friendly voice of compassion and understanding. She answered all of our questions and helped get us through the entire process. She even took a last minute request and turned a sad time into a time of rejoicing for my sister. During one of the darkest times in our lives, my sister and I were treated with utmost respect, dignity, and kindness by MJ and her team. Our mother passed away in July. After simply and clearly presenting all of our options, we made decisions and they handled every detail. We are truly grateful for their service.
From the first phone call to the closing of the account, Michael at the Ruskin branch of the National Cremation and Burial Service was prompt, efficient and respectful. His manner is comforting, and he knows all aspects of the business. We were very pleased, comforted, and impressed with the services we received.
Very professional and compassionate service was provided to the friends and family of Stephen Matava.
My husband passed away suddenly leaving us in shock. Jeffrey Testerman was such a support for my daughters and myself. Jeffrey walked us through the entire process with sympathy and humor as we shared our memories with him. With his help, we were able to set up the memorial service with just one day notice. He was able to connect with the US Navy to arrange for honors and taps. The cremation society made a terrible time in our lives easier.
From the moment he greeted us at the door, Jeffrey Testerman was an absolute delight to work with. We were impressed with his friendliness, professionalism, confidence & compassion. He never seemed hurried or bothered by any questions (even repeated ones). We had pre-arranged everything for my mom but had not met Jeffery until this day. Indira and Michael were both very helpful and compassionate. We were over 700 miles away yet everything was handled by the time we arrived. Exceptional service by professionals.
They are owned and operated by Dignity Memorial aka SCI. You can expect a higher quality of service when comparing to other low-cost cremation options.
Patrick was incredibly kind, sensitive and professional in every interaction we had with him. He answered all our questions related to transporting some of our mom's remains by plane. He was in touch with us to check in and responded to every email correspondence very quickly. thank you for making the best out of a difficult situation.
Dear Jeffrey, I wanted to thank you for all your help during this difficult time for me. You truly are so efficient, kind, and helpful. You were never too busy to talk to me.
When our Dad passed away just before the hurricane, we were unable to get to Florida to handle the arrangements. We are so grateful to Barbara and her staff for the way they guided us through this very difficult time. They are completely professional, efficient and kind.
Both my stepmother and Dad passed away within 3 mos of each other. Jeffrey was amazing and made the process as easy as possible. He was compassionate and truly caring. My family appreciated his kindness and his knowledge. Thank You, Jeffrey
I want to thank Lisa so very much for all her help.....She is so knowledgeable and gave us great information and she was not pushing anything at us........She guided us and went out of her way to make sure all went well........Also, I think it was Robin that opted to stay late and wait for us to get there for my brothers' ashes as we needed them that day and we so appreciate that....I would recommend National Cremation very highly.........Again.......Thank You for all your patience and help............
Last March our son, Tom, passed away. James Jackson-Ward from the Denver office of National Cremation Society helped us through this very trying time. His service was outstanding and his compassion was greatly appreciated. We can't imagine any way that he could have been more helpful. We would highly recommend James and National Cremation Society to anyone needing their services.
I cannot thank Lisa Lustig enough for the warmth and care she gave me and my husband as we were taking care of my mother's arrangements last month. She gave every detail her full attention but her sincerity of concern for our loss really made such a difference and her genuine care in her conversation with us was so pleasant, so appreciated her personal touch. The person we were assigned was Barbara Kallevig, we (my brother and I ) received exceptional service from Barbara as well as her team. They far exceeded our expectations, completing every task to get our Mom to her final resting place with our father. Well done! Truly exceptional service!

Millie Coughlin and The National Cremation Society are both 5 Star. Millie provided us with all the information we needed and made a trying time much easier. Millie is truly a blessing. The National Cremation Society will always be our number 1 recommendation to family and friends.

I am so appreciative of the help I received at the Sarasota, FL office from Barbara. She was very understanding to all my needs at the time that was most difficult. All questions were answered in a most respectful way. She continued to stay in touch until all plans were finalized. Thank you, Barbara, for all your assistance.
VERY GOOD BUSINESS! wonderful. Will be using this for my own funeral someday ;)
Just wanted to THANK YOU Dena for everything.. You and the National Cremation Society have done an EXCELLENT JOB!! Under the circumstances ,You guys made everything easy as possible to take care of and set my heart at ease knowing that my mother was in good hands.
My mother died two weeks ago, and the team at National Cremation were patient, timely, and flexible--in short, professional--with me and my sister, concerning my mother's pre-arranged details. It was tough for us, but less tough than it might've been, thanks to National Cremation down in Oviedo. Thanks again.
My husband's cremation was handled in such a professional, compassionate manner from the time his body was picked up from our home by two caring young men to the time I had to go finalize the arrangements to the day I picked up his ashes to bring him home again. I already have my arrangements made with them to handle my passing. Brendan Barry was my Funeral Director and I couldn't have asked for a more caring individual. I would highly recommend National Cremation Society. Thank you all and God Bless.
In spite of Hurricane Irma, Michael Wheatland did a wonderful job for my family at this very stressfull time.Thank you The Seagrave Family

Your staff was absolutely superb! Indira and Michael assisted us in smoothing the process for my family after the loss of our beloved father in August. He had made his arrangements in advance after we lost both my mother and brother in 2009, and he used the National Cremation Society service. We are so thankful for all of the wonderful care taken to ensure that our focus was on the memory of a wonderful father and not the difficulty of making arrangements for his final repose!

We are so grateful for the attention to detail that Dena Manis and team took care of our needs! At a time of such grief, Dena was so understanding and went above and beyond to take such care of my dear husband Bochdan Romanyszyn, and the emotional needs of myself, and sons Bryan, Christopher and Eric. I have Prepaid for my own cremation at National Cremation Society - hopefully many years in the future! I would strongly recommend their services! Thank you!
Ronnie took care of us from the time we walked through the door he was kind considerate and courteous he didn't rush he took a lot of time explaining everything in detail to us.

My wife died because of ALS. Among her final wishes was that Mayo Clinic be allowed to harvest samples from her remains for research. After the harvest the Jacksonville office took over and led me through the steps necessary to complete her prearranged cremation even though we were 375 miles apart. A few days after the cremation, they notified me that her ashes were ready to be returned to me. They then mailed a carefully packaged contained by overnight mail. I am very satisfied with the care and respect shown by the Jacksonville Cremation Society office.
Chris Rhodes has been extremely helpful throughout the entire process.
My father who resided in Ft Myers FL recently passed away. I live in Southern California. Jeffrey Testerman and the staff at National Cremation and Burial Society handled things beautifully on their end. I have contacted them on emails and phone calls and was always helped out with my questions and concerns. They made a trying time very peaceful for me and my family even at times when we were falling apart. His passing was very hard on us but they made it a little bit easier to deal with. Thank you.

I can't begin to express the way Millie Coughlin and her team helped me and my daughter-in-law get through this difficult time. Millie was kind and compassionate, helping to make the final arrangements for my husband, Robert. Her professional demeanor was enlighting. I would like to thank the two young gentlemen who took care of the transport of my husand. They were very professional and very thoughtful in the way they handled everything. It made the whole process easier to cope with at the time. We are so glad we chose National Cremation.
At the time of my Mother's death, we had prearranged with National Cremation. MJ was very helpful with all the arrangements. Emotions can be difficult at this time, but MJ helped explain all the ways that National Cremation could assist our family. Her caring was so appreciated.
the unexpected loss of my wife left me shocked and the loss seemed unbearable. Jeff was very professional and helpful during this difficult time. His personal attention was exceptional and very much appreciated.
Organized, compassionate, knowledgeable. Everything done right. Don't know what else to say.....professionals. Also received American Flag folded properly and presented in a great cover. When you need it done these are the people to see.
The service and support offered to my family from the staff at National Cremation & Burial Society was beyond caring. I'm forever thankful for such a smooth transition for my loved one during the difficult time. I will definitely recommend the services of this organization to others and use in the future for my own needs. A special thanks to Joshua Shook the funeral director who handled my arrangements. Your service, compassion, and generosity are much appreciated. From the family of the late Victor E. Curry
Words cannot describe my appreciation for Dena Manis. From the time I contacted her, I felt her compassion and assurance that everything would be done in a timely manner. This gave me the opportunity to take care of other things I had to do, due to the sudden passing of my special friend. Thank you Dena, from the bottom of my heart. Your continued support has been a Godsend!!!
Brendan, you and the team are absolutely awesome! You made it so incredibly easy for me the day I came in to make arrangements for my mom Judith Elliott. Your passion in this filled really shows and thank you so much for everything. God bless you and all the staff of National Cremation Society😆
We lost our mom 3 months ago and with Millie Coughlin's professionalism and compassion, we were able to get through this difficult time. She walked us through each of the steps without any hesitation. She was very caring and genuine. We thank you.
It was a difficult time when my grandmother passed. Chris demonstrated outstanding customer service! He is extremly professional and will go above and beyond to ensure his clients are pleased.Furthermore, the staff are extremely and very helpful. I highly recommend National Cremation Oviedo, if you need to make funeral arrangements.

Thank you, Linda Haugen, for looking after absolutely everything -- with attention to detail and great warmth -- leaving me free to mourn my husband's passing.
My father recently passed last week and Robin Fisher was excellent through the entire process. She was able to guide me through the process and even arranged a small viewing for my out of town family in a very short notice. Abby Schilling provided excellent and compassionate service and advice at this difficult time in our lives. She was helpful and considerate, while at the same time efficient.
My stepfather passed away recently after a brief hospice stay. I was so pleased by the care and compassion given to my mother and me by the National Cremation Society of Hudson. At a time when it is nearly impossible to think straight, Tanya Parker led us gently through the necessary steps to ensure that my stepfather received the dignified farewell he so deserved.
Chris and his staff were very helpful when my Mother passed. It was a very difficult time and Chris was responsive to all our needs even after regular business hours. He guided me through the process of cremation and helped facilitate the appropriate paperwork and transport of my Mother's cremains. I would recommend Chris and his staff to anyone.
I lost my wife after a long battle, but the end came more suddenly and unexpectedly than I was prepared for.. Dena was amazing in helping me through this hard time. After my husband passed away I was not in the right state of mind for dealing with a funeral organization, the first place I went, tried to get as much money out of me as they could. So by some miracle I found National Cremation. Dena was very polite, and explained me all my options. They were not pushy and very understanding. They also had very reasonable prices (especially comparing to the first place I went to). Thank you for all your help.
My parents purchased their cremation from you folks 15 years ago. When my dad passed in January they responded with a quickness that I did not expect. Would I recommend them yes I would this is definatly the way to make sure everything is done the way you want.
From the sales rep who visited us when we first bought a cremation package, to wonderful gentlemen who came to pick up my father in law, to the incredible office staff, National Cremation Society has been a blessing. We couldn't have asked for more caring, efficient service. Pop passed on a Wednesday and we had his remains and the death certificates in our care within 7 days. The service they offer is hands down one of the best and I would recommend them to anyone looking for cremation services!!!
My parents purchased the services of National Cremation Society many years ago and I am certainly happy they did. The society has been a blessing to our family in so many ways and I don't know what we would have done without them. Karen and the rest of the staff are kind, sympathetic and knowledgeable. I will be visiting them again very soon to make my own final arrangements.
Ms. Coughlin provided compassionate and excellent service during the entire process. She is a wonderful person and I completely recommend her to anyone needing her assistance during these sad and confusing times
My mother purchased the cremation service in Florida, approximately 10 years prior to my fathers passing at their home in Minnesota. The Minnesota representative, Abby Schilling, helped us through the process wonderfully. It could not have been done better. Thank you Abby and the National Cremation Society for helping us through this transition.
National Cremation Rep. Barry Did A Great Service For My Mom In All Respects . Everything Went As Planned. We Will Use National Cremation In The Future. Thanks Again. John Mulroy Jr
My husband passed away in April. I am very thankful we had purchased a plan with National Cremation Services in 2014. All I had to do was call one number and EVERYTHING was taken care of. I appreciated the respect/dignity with which they treated my deceased husband's body when they came to the hospital to pick him up. Everyone we dealt with was very professional and they did all they said they would do. The whole process was seamless at a very difficult time in my and our children's lives. Thank you for your service!
Michael did a fantastic job from start to finish with funeral arrangements for our mother.
MJ and everyone that I happened to speak with was very helpful in this incredibly difficult time.. You all went above and beyond for me. I soooo much appreciate everything that you all did.
I live in Michigan. I was the sole caregiver for my Aunt Joan who lived in Florida with no family there. Millie Coughlin at National Cremation Society was so kind to me and took care of my Aunts cremation with kindness and caring. Gloria at the same office greeted us when we arrived to Florida to retrieve my Aunts ashes. I can't say enough good things about The National Cremation society... Thank you for everything.
I can say that Dina Manis was excellent. She showed me all of my options, any extras I might want and answered all of my questions. She was kind and patient. I felt comfortable and was not pushed into anything I did not want or need. She told me everything that was going to happen. Everything went smoothly and followed the schedule that she gave me. I would be happy to recommend Dina and National Cremation to anyone who might need these services.
Millie Coughlin provided superb service while we dealt with the passing of my father in Port Charlotte, FL. She informed us about the excellent services provided by the National Cremation Society and what to expect throughout the process. The entire staff was very professional and have already recommended their service to many family and friends.
My mother had moved from Florida to Michigan to stay with us for the final year of her life. I called the Bloomfield Hills, Michigan office to inquire about the status of her pre-paid plan that she had earlier secured in Florida. When the time came, Maryann lived up to her promise, and then some. She was completely on top of everything, and handled details with professionalism and efficiency, all with much caring, kindness and understanding. She eased us through a difficult time, and we never had any concerns that things would not be done in a timely and professional manner. This was very comforting for the entire family, and we all appreciate it very much.
Thank you, Maryann.
My mom's cremation was handled extremely well in a timely manner. Matthew and others at the facility were very helpful and caring. Would highly recommend
The loss of my beloved husband after 49 years is difficult to bear. We were very satisfied with the service and personal attention that Mr. Griffin gave to our needs. National Cremation Services deserves its five star rating.
This was my first experience with this type of service. Drew and Tanya were very compassionate and helped me and my family through every step of this difficult time . Drew was very comforting and listened to all our requests and handled all of them with respect and understanding. He took care of all the paperwork and gave us peace of mind knowing every detail was taken care of He has continued to offer his support if I need Him. I highly recommend this location.
My husband and I had prepaid for services in the late 1990s, When he passed away this year the services and information we provided early on, made the process so easy to do during a difficult time. Robin was wonderful to work with, and even though this happened over a holiday weekend, she was very caring and attentive to our needs. I would recommend National Cremation to anyone as pre-planning or when you lose a loved one
We recently loss a family member to a car accident so it was very devastating for all of us. However, we are very thankful to have worked with the National Cremation & Burial Center in Oviedo. Very professional, caring and accomodating.
After losing my wife National Cremation took care of all the details as requested. They were very considerate to my feelings and kept me up to date on all the things that were being done. We appreciate their service. Would recommend to anyone.
I want to say how much I appreciate the kind people at National Cremation and also what a great service they provide. They made this difficult process easy and affordable. They treat everyone with dignity and compassion and I highly recommend them to anyone.
James was more than helpful at the sudden death of my husband - He even arranged for the playing of reveille instead of taps at the graveside service. It was a most professional and sensitive service.
Michael was with us every step of the way. He went out of his way to ensure everything was done according to our wishes. He was caring, professional, and sensitive to our needs.
Millie Coughlin assisted us in making arrangements for my Father-in-Law who passed away at the age of 94. Her compassion and professionalism made our experience progress smoothly. Her heartfelt attitude was extremely appreciated. We were also impressed with the staff and the comfort they provided. Her assistance with his burial at the Sarasota National Cemetery for Veterans was exceptional. Thank you so very much.
It has been two months since my husband, Gus, passed away suddenly. Although he had been ill for several months, we had hoped and prayed he would recover. I was having to handle everything over the phone, as my husband passed away in Phoenix and I had already said good-bye to him and was making my way back home to Northern Arizona when I received the phone call that he had passed. As soon as I called the 800-number to National Cremation Services I was connected with Linda in their office in Phoenix. From that moment on everything was taken care of with compassion, courtesy, promptness and the care I needed at that time. I am so grateful to have chosen National Cremation Services. Thank you for being there!!
My husband's death was quite a shock! Michael was there every step of the way for my youngest daughter and me. His manner was gentle and compassionate--very calming for us. We will always be grateful.
We are the Curry family out of Lakeland, Florida and my dad had made pre-arrangements with National Cremation in Oviedo, Florida years ago. He recently passed rather suddenly so the shock and sadness as to be expected was a big blow to our family. We met with Stephen Barreto on 5/1/17 and I have to say he handled himself and this situation we are going through with amazing compassion, dignity and comfort to my family and we could not thank him enough. After we were completed my elderly mom had to hug him and exchanged kisses on the cheek with him because she dreaded this moment and we left there with complete gratitude and trust and peace. National Cremation certainly picked the right man for this job with a gifted ability to make his clients feel like human beings and not just a job. Thanks Stephen, we won’t forget you!

I highly recommend National Cremation be it Oviedo, or any other location, as the staff was courteous, well trained, and a pleasure to interact with. Thank you so much to Steven Barreto for your kindness, patience, and attention to detail. You made everything perfect.
We have used National Cremation Society in the past for my father, in 2006, and now for my mother, 4/2017. Lisa Lustig was our funeral director. She was very helpful and knowledgeable and made this process go very smoothly for us. We appreciated her patience as we called back for obituary information and then came by, a couple of days later, for a sign-in book for friends at the service. Lisa and the Clearwater team are warm and down-to-earth. Thanks to all.
My wife passed away suddenly but we had prepaid for our cremations almost 2 decades ago. Michael was very kind and professional - he was able to carry out all of the services expeditiously and was helpful in all respects.
I was fortunate enough to have Stephen Barreto assist me in making cremation arrangements for my husband, Robert H. Shaffer. Mr. Barreto was efficient and professional. He even arranged for the service at Cape Canaveral National Memorial Cemetery, in Mims, Florida. During this difficult time, his constant vigilance put my mind at ease. I would highly recommend National Cremation Services and Mr. Barreto to my friends and family. THANK YOU, MR. BARRETO!
Lisa did a great job!! The circumstances behind knowing Lisa were not great, but she listened to our needs, was NOT pushy and my sister and I walked away feeling confident about our decisions.

Thank you for your efforts on behalf of our family. Every detail regarding my father's arrangements was completed in an expeditious and timely manner. Your coordination with Sylvan Abbey and the Air Force Honor Guard led to a seamless funeral service. I very much appreciate your high degree of professionalism and compassion.

I didn’t want to leave any stressful decisions to be made for my fiancee & family. It’s all handled as I wish right now, and can be changed. For example, as of now I want my remains in a tree pod to be buried. Next year I might want to be in the ocean. Irregardless, one phone call handles arrangements for my cremation and delivered as I designate, no matter where I am at the time of my passing. Highly recommend NCS.

I’m not someone who posts a lot of reviews, but sometimes an extra effort needs to be made for businesses who truly care about their customers. My family was in the position to choose someone for cremation fairly quickly. When the doctor tells you that your loved one only has days to live, you are in a panic trying to decide what to do next… they didn’t plan in advance which is so hard on the family. A neighbor said they had used National Cremation Society in the past due to their mother having pre-arrangements with them at the time of her passing. So we called them along with a few others just to get an idea of prices….not that this was the only thing that matters, but still, you want to feel good about your decision financially. They were not the cheapest in town….right in the middle of the road as opposed to those “direct disposers” and your big, fancy funeral homes. (I just didn’t like how using a direct disposer felt in my heart….so what if it were cheaper!!…we wanted more than just the dirt cheap option for goodness sakes!! Sometimes you get what you pay for, and I wasn’t interested in trying that theory out in the instance!!) Anyway, after the folks over at National Cremation explained the entire process….we could even have embalming and a real funeral service with a viewing and everything if that’s what we wanted, which you can’t do with a direct disposer or for twice the price with a traditional funeral home…. and all that is included in their charges, we decided to work with them. Everyone there was so nice!!!! They understood that we have never had to make final arrangements before, and they were really patient….and I asked A LOT of questions… probably overwhelming them, but they never showed it. I only dealt with the lady at the front desk, Maria…. WHO IS JUST PRECIOUS…. and the two funeral directors, Douglas and Lori. I don’t know if there are other staff members or not, but those three were so patient, so kind, so helpful, and kept in communication whenever anything transpired. I was called when the death certificates came in….which they overnighted to my sister out of state….. and I was called when the cremation date was actually set. Then when the process was complete, they offered to take the ashes over to the National Cemetery in Lake Worth for us, so we didn’t have to make the drive to North Palm to pick them up….not that the drive is long….only about 20 miles, but still that was extremely helpful. So anyway, I hope this helps people who need to find someone to do a cremation feel a bit more confident about making a choice. These are amazing people….and if you’re looking for kindness, if you’re looking for compassion, if you’re looking for people who seem to love their job and love the families they are helping in such a terrible time, then I say don’t give it another thought…. let National Cremation Society in North Palm Beach, FL be the business for you. THANKS GUYS FOR EVERYTHING!!!!! 🙂
Dianna H. was wonderful 8 years ago when we made our pre-arrangements. Lisa L. was the funeral director at the time of need. Both very knowledgeable and truthful. Everything went smoothly, my family is able to support each other without any issues over "who's going to pay". NCS fulfilled all the pre-arranged service and did not cost us any more.
Our contact person at NCS was Gloria Yanni. She was very professional and efficient. Our brother had died and we had no family in Florida. We elected Cremation. We were able to process the paperwork over internet. The process including receiving the ashes was 8 days. The cost was very reasonable.
Dena was absolutely wonderful. Losing a loved one is hard enough, having someone who isn't pushing and listens and totally trying to help you find what you need is exceptional quality. I would highly recommend Dena, this location and the National Cremation to anyone who sadly needs this service.
If you are looking for an establishment to walk you through the entire process of the loss of a loved one, with the very minimum of stress, call these people. Stephen and staff are incredible. The had answers to all of our questions, were extremely respectful, very kind, and took charge on many of the behind the scenes steps. The professionalism and kindness allowed us to focus on grieving for our mother, and not get caught up in paperwork.
Very pleasant experience. Stephen and staff were very nice and made the process as easy as possible. They went above and beyond to help me and make sure everything was taken care of. This was my first experience having to go to a funeral home and Stephen guided me through the entire process and explained everything well.
It's one of those places you don't want to have to use, but when the time came, they were fantastic. My mom's cremation was handled as well as we could have asked for. Lisa Lustig was our "director" and she was awesome. Highly recommend!

We were wrong. Fortunately, we met with Jeffrey Testerman in the afternoon, after my mother passed away during the early morning hours. We were met with not only consolation and comfort, but a desire to know the “essence” of who my mom was. All of the questions we could have possibly had were answered in a thoughtful checklist of “things to do”. Jeffrey was extremely knowledgeable, and spelled everything out so that there were no questions left. How many death certificates, where to send them, an attorney we could contact? We left with all of the information needed. I had no idea this information would be provided from the funeral home.
Knowing someday I will experience this again, it’s such a help to know where to find guidance. Jeffrey was knowledgeable, courteous & professional. He seems perfectly suited to care for people grieving, or even preplanning. Thank you!
My husband passed away in late February. We received the most exceptional, kind and thoughtful service from Jeffery Testerman. I cant think of anyone that I would rather have to work with at such a difficult time. His professionalism, advice and attention were unsurpassed.
Very professional staff. Efficient at fulfilling prepaid contract.
Truly exceptional service.

Losing a loved on is a trying experience, and having people who are able to guide you through the process with kindness makes such a difficult time more manageable. I would highly recommend the National Cremation Society for anyone who is in the sad situation of saying his or her goodbyes to a loved one.
Thank you, Dena. You and your company have done and excellent job.

I have recommended National Cremation Society of Richfield to many people.
James at National Cremation was very caring, calm and efficient. I truly appreciated the care and follow through I experienced with James and John. They made this stressful, upsetting time as pleasant as possible, which I truly appreciate. I would recommend National Cremation Society to anyone interested in this type of burial.
Everyone at National Cremation made a very difficult life changing event so much easier. They were very respectful and handled all aspects of my husband's passing in a dignified manner. Thank you to everyone.
My husband passed on the 21st of March. The staff at National Cremation in Hudson were very professional and handled him with dignity and grace. It was a very peaceful experience. Thank you especially to Drew for his warmth.
I want to thank you for your kindness and patience. You made the worst time in my life bearable.
Thank you, Jeff Marshall, for so gently and compassionately helping me with the process of having my father cremated. While his passing at 89 years of age was not unexpected, I was deeply saddened and found myself numb. Your kind demeanor and patience when we talked on the phone, and each time we met in person made me feel at ease and able to focus. You touched my heart. And I am forever grateful that you were there during my time of need.
I can't thank Michael enough for helping me through a very difficult time in my life. I lost my entire life when I lost my husband he was the most precious man god ever created, I am sure everybody feels the same. My only difficult time was the time before the cremation which was not the crematory fault that it took several days.
Thank you for all the help with the passing of my Mother, Indira was very helpful, and compassionate during the planning of the arrangements and I want to make sure that people know that if they need help with the passing of a loved one, they will be in good hands here. Thank you Indira, and the society.
Thank you to the team at National Cremation Office for helping me get through this sad time. I met with Drew and was so please with his caring ways. He explained everything to me and kept me informed during the days that followed. Luckily my parents had the process all planned out according to their wishes. I would also like to mention that I received many calls updating me to the next steps. That was so appreciated. Thank you for caring.
Thank you Michael Weakland! When my mother recently passed away you made things as stress free as you could. Mother was in Florida and I live in New York. She passed suddenly and I called you and you made me feel so much better. You kept me up to date and took such personal care of everything. I thank you for making this difficult time bearable, being so far away from her was very hard but you called and emailed me which made me feel comforted in knowing she was in good hands
On behalf of my family, I would like to thank Dena Manis for her kindness and support. Dena went out her way to ensure my father would be honored with a military send off and a wonderful American flag. This was very important to my dad and made his service very special. Dena was ever so kind to make sure that those that needed notes for work or any other detail were promptly taken care of. Thanks so much for your assistance. You are truly a professional!
I can't say enough about the professional services of this company. They were there when needed and went the extra step to help make this sad time easier. I highly recommend them.
I cannot express more sincerely my thanks to Millie Coughlin in the Port Charlotte office for her careful and professional manner in which she tended me recently.
My family and I want to thank the people at the Hudson location for the manner in which you handled my mothers passing. You were compassionate and caring from the first phone call. Drew was exceptional and put us at ease at this most difficult time. We had our memorial service there and the facility was most accommodating to our needs. We felt you honored our mother and our family during this difficult time.
The people at the NCS in Hudson were wonderful in helping us with our arrangements for my father. Very compassionate and professional and answered all of our questions. They were there for us before, during and after the service. Tanya and her staff were extremely respectful and handled all the paperwork in a timely fashion. If anyone out there is in need of these kinds of services, I highly recommend these people. They gave us peace of mind at this most difficult time and my family and I are very grateful.
My wife died suddenly recently which was a major shock to me and my family. The people at National Cremation did an excellent job of getting through this difficult time. Mathew Brown was particularly helpful. They handled everything in a positive, respectful manner and it helped ease my grief quite a bit. Can't say enough good things about the staff.
Thank you, Michael, for your most kind and gracious manner in which you handled the death of our son, Scott. His death was a complete shock to us and you helped us so much in our time of need. God Bless You in your service.
This is the third unexpected death in my family in less than 4 years that the Clearwater National Cremation Society has handled on my behalf. I live in Texas, and so the professionalism, courtesy, kindness and promptness of Ms. Dena Manis, the funeral director, was so very much appreciated. Thank you Ms. Dena and all the staff.
5 star service. I would recommend National Cremation and Burial Society to anyone.
Could not have been more pleased with the services provided. James was helpful and knowledgeable well beyond my expectations. The process was easy and there was no pressure. They knew exactly what to do to make the arrangements for transfer to Fort Logan, arrange for making the VA burial claim, just everything.
My advisor at NCS was Matt Stage. He was right on time for both appointments. He took his time with me and answered all of my questions in a very professional manner. His secretary, Merit, was also very efficient. It was a pleasure dealing with both. I would not hesitate to recommend NCS.
The process of going through a death is so overwhelming. Planning for a cremation is stressful and sad, however James at National Cremation was knowledgeable and compassionate. Extremely professional and ready to lend an open ear to my many questions. Thank you for all you did for my family. You will be recommended to others when the need arises.
When Mom passed at the age of 101 it was a blessing knowing she would be taken care of with compassion and respect. Hospice phoned the office nearest her in Denver. We were there when a young gentleman came. Mother was treated kindly and gently. When it came time to do the paper work, James Jackson-Ward was understanding and guided us through the process and informed us what to expect and when. The passing of a loved one is difficult enough but having compassionate guides is a true blessing. Thank you for what you have chosen to do in your lives.
Everything was done professionally & with compassion.
Abby was outstanding as to seeing that everything was done properly.
Very impressed with Abby and her work ethics.
We were extremely pleased with all services provided.
The human touch provided during this very stressful time was extremely appreciated… the prearrangement of cremation was extremely beneficial.
My dad passed away and had previously set up his cremation arrangement with National Cremation. We found the information in dads files, called the number and National Cremation did the rest. Everything went so smooth. James in the Denver office took good care of us. THANKS
My dad had purchased a cremation plan a few years ago, I am so thankful he did. Linda Haugen helped me so much and was so compassionate and understanding. I was notified as soon as they received my dad's body and were in contact with me throughout the process keeping me apprised of each step. I didn't order enough death certificates but Linda was quick to get more sent to me. The family was so pleased with the help we got from National Cremation. We would highly recommend National Cremation Society to any family looking for the right choice.
We paid for our cremations in advance, so, that, at the time of my husband's death, National Cremation was simply a phone call away. Two sensitive, kindly and efficient men came to our home in very timely fashion. They worked with me and treated him as if anything different would cause him pain! They were discreet and yet warm. The staff in the office handled follow-up well and certainly made my own journey much easier. Thanks!
It is always difficult when we lose a loved one. James and his staff are very caring and professional. They made this sad time easier to handle and our family will be forever grateful for their caring support.
My parents made prepaid arrangements for their cremation. My Mother recently died and National Cremation took care of us every step of the way. James Jackson-Ward was compassionate and especially helpful. He simplified the process for us, answered all of our questions, and got us the needed Death Certificates. I can't say enough positive things about this company.
My sister recently passed away. I contacted National Cremation Society. James Jackson-Ward was the person that was able to assist us in granting my sister's final wish. He provided exceptional caring service! He explained the process, helped guide us to Fort Logan National Cemetery for her final resting spot, presented us with a United States Flag, and helped us to ensure that we received the Death Certificates before we had to come back to our hometown. We cannot say enough about the level of service that James gave us. We are truly grateful!
My husband and I decided to prepay for our Cremations. The presentation on Cremation was very informative and we feel we have done the right thing for ourselves and for our loved ones. We are looking at the nice wooden box as though it is a time capsule. We put pictures and other keepsakes in there from time to time. I know it's not something people like to think about but it's gonna happen so just do it. It covers transportation back to the states if you die while your traveling. That is a big international ordeal that you don’t want your family to have to go through. We have cards in our wallets and our children just call the 800 number and they jump in and give them guidance. We didn’t want a funeral just the Cremation services.
I am utterly speechless at the amazing support this establishment showed to me and my family. I live in Miami and was trying to arrange the cremation process and the memorial service from out of town. Dorsey was more than accommodating and truly supportive of my situation. I was able to honor my father's last wishes and give him the memorial he deserved without question. I highly recommend this organization. They are more than professional. They are sincere.
National Cremation Society helped my family through the loss of a loved one. They were there to answer all of my questions throughout the entire process. They were efficient and budget friendly. The staff is exceptional and I would recommend to anyone who has lost a loved one.
National Cremation Society has been there for me and my family several times in the last few years. Robin Wright is a very down to earth professional. Losing a love one is already heart wrenching enough. Laying them to rest should not be. I would not go anywhere else. They are truly a god send. They are with you every step of the process. Thank you so much for the help with my sister Kelly Walters and my mother Kathryn Stafford.
Robin and her staff are simply the very best. I cannot say enough great things!
Robin Wright was wonderful. She was most professional, compassionate and empathetic. She answered all questions and managed all concerns; especially just after Christmas. We were pleased with the services offered by National Cremation Society. Everything was provided and handled as promised, in a timely manner. The pricing for our needs was also affordable and reasonable. We plan to use your services again and recommend to others. 5 Stars!
I can't say enough about the service of this company. They went above and beyond at a time of need with our family. My mother had purchased a pre-need agreement in the 1980's in Clearwater, Fl. I thought there may be a problem, as she passed away in Georgia. The issue was never raised and they conducted themselves efficiently with passion. They never attempted to prey financially during your grieving process. If you are seeking out a crematory, I would recommend this business with 10 stars, as it says above "THIS IS AS GOOD AS IT GETS!!!!
I would like to share my experience here with you with arranging services for one of two of the most important persons in my entire life, and in tow, the other most important person in my life, 4 foot 9, 96 year old Mom who had lost half of herself just a day a two before. Upon entering the building, we were greeted so pleasantly, home feeling, real and sincere. We met with the Director Tanya and Drew, her assistant. Goodness, do these people know, not only their business, but also emanate a true sense of caring. We were never rushed or pressured. When we departed after completing all the arrangements, there was a feeling of total comfort.
My Mom went home with the feeling of confidence and comfort. No one can sell that nor can it be bought, it is only provided and given.
Did the company get extra money for providing the service of comfort feeling? The answer is no, they gave it freely. Through the process and after our “Celebration of Life” which was also held at their facility, they completely catered the service, providing military and clergy. All was flawless, in fact it was better than flawless if there is such a category. The kindness, the honor and respect given us by these special people I have not witnessed before.
Now, those who know me should know that should it have gone the other way, less than professional, there would be a narrative expressing the particulars of the same.
I am so glad and pleased we selected National Cremation and Burial Society in Hudson/Port Richey. I would also like to share the Directors name again, Tanya Perkins.
My Mom and I had numerous people come up after the services expressing they had never been to such a nice service. We received notes and cards from others who attended stating the same. We should never forget, funeral services are for the living, to honor those who have passed. To everyone, Thank you!
I brought a really good friend here and met Chris he took us in and help her every step of the way. I am writing to thank you and all those you work with from the bottom of my heart for being honest, reliable and caring. When my sister passed away, you and the National Cremation Society kept every promise you made to Linda in her prepaid arrangements. Our entire family would recommend you to anyone. Thank you for keeping your promises to my sister and our family. You made it easier on those left behind.
I was impressed with the personal attention we received from your staff.
I highly recommend the National Cremation Society. They helped me make the unexpected arrangements for my brother's service and beautifully arranged the hall for our ceremony. Their staff had good suggestions and were a huge blessing during a very sad time for me.
Thank you for showing our family so much compassion when we needed it the most. You made everything go so smoothly which allowed us to plan the service and attend to all the other matters. You all worked with listening and loving hearts every family needs at this time.
Abby and staff were great to work with. They helped us with both parents and we have recommended them to others.
Thank you for your great efforts for our mom. I really appreciate your service and will highly recommend you to others we know.
My mother passed 7/23/16 early am. Our prepaid arrangement with another company had disconnected phones. I was at the nursing home under stress between my mother's passing and not being able to contact Dad as to what I should do next. I chose National Cremation & Burial SOciety in Clearwater to expedite matter's. The young man who transported my mother could not have been more professional. He was wonderful. I am truly sorry I forgot the wonderful woman’s name but she contacted me just hours later for the consultation. We went as soon as possible and explained that my father is heavily pressured by the fact they had prepaid arrangements with another company and they cannot be found. This dear Lady took the time to find out information, came back with the answer that she had found the company that had bought the previous owners business and they would honor our prepaid services. She spent between 20-30 minutes tracking down what we could not. Arranged for transfer and charged us nothing. My father was so relieved and impressed. I cannot thank her enough for all of her professional caring for people not profit. What a fantastic place this must be to have services with.
Thank you so much for your compassionate care of Mom and us after her death. You and your staff did a wonderful job of taking care of us. We miss her, but take comfort knowing she’s no longer suffering.
Donnie, thank you for taking care of my mom and getting her to us so quickly. We realize that it usually takes longer and we are very appreciative of you helping to speed this along at such a hard time.
Our family can never thank you enough. You have been such a blessing God sent to us. Thank you!
Just wanted to thank you for all that you’ve done for us. We really appreciate it!
Thank you so very much for all you did for us in the loss of my son. I will be eternally grateful.
...thank you for your responsiveness and professional assistance as we dealt with the untimely death of our son. You went out of the way to communicate with us and understand our needs. You also willed us through the potential mine fields which was most appreciated.
You surely made the experience less traumatic with your kindness.
We really feel we could not have been in better hands.
There are no words to express how much your kindness meant to us.
Having a loved one die is a big stress. Elaine at National Cremation Service was very supportive. She was always on target, helping us with memorial cards, going through the cremation process and urns. We even had time to view him before the cremation process. I highly recommend Elaine at National Cremation Service.
I just wanted to thank you on behalf of my in-laws and myself for all of your assistance and kindness during this difficult time. From the time we met you, you showed us warmth and concern and that means a lot to me. Above all else, I thank you for your presence; it’s the greatest gift that can be given to another person. Your kindness and professionalism throughout this process has been greatly appreciated.
Thank you so much for going out of your way for us. I know in the business we are in you meet people who have become accustomed to dealing with loss everyday and find it hard to show compassion. I am just glad we were blessed with you. The compassion and kindness you have shown will never be forgotten. Thank you for everything. May God bless you in all you do in life.
Thank you for your patience and kindness toward me all this past year. You went so far to help me and I don’t have the words to express my thanks. Merry Christmas to you and your families.
Thank you for my first session of grief counseling. You are so good at what you do and I hope everyone appreciates your gift and writes accordingly. For those who don’t, let this note express their gratitude as well. Many Thanks.
Ed Sudderth with the National Cremation Society was recommended to me by a good friend and co-worker. As a widow with no children and family members miles away I had no one to lean on except Ed. Thank you for making this so painless. I appreciate your help and it has been my pleasure to work with you.
Thank you for helping our family with dad’s arrangements. You and your staff were so nice! We really appreciate everything.
On behalf of my family and I, we want to thank you for your kindness. Thank you for letting us be at the chapel. It was an honor.
Thank you so much for your help and guidance regarding my sister. You will never know how much your kindness meant to us all.
The whole staff was there when we needed them. Amazing group!
I was totally satisfied with the service provided.
I was so impressed with everything!
Fantastic experience under difficult circumstances.
We used this company about a year ago when my father passed away. Millie took great care of us. She never pushed us into anything and was so compassionate with the whole process. She was so easy to work with. I would highly recommend this company and ask for Millie. I live In Illinois, I just wish this company was near my home town. Also after dealing with this whole process it really opened my eyes to several things and how I want to have things handled for me.
The people and this company are amazing! The level of professionalism is wonderful. They were prompt and sensitive and completed everything on time at the price quoted. This is a no frills service and a low cost provider but nothing is lacking here at all. I highly recommend this company. Every detail was taken care of and I was informed all the way through. When I went to pick up my wife's remains we all hugged and cried together. You can't fake that folks. These people are the real deal.
I know first hand that National Cremation Society handles things in a dignified manner.
First of all I am completely blown away that this company only had two stars on Google+. We received nothing but the most professional service and care when it came to picking out the urn and coordinating the cremation of my father-in-law, Wallace or "Pete" as we called him. We were from Chicago but had Pete in a great memory care facility in Scottsdale. He passed away in Arizona so everything with his cremation had to take place in Arizona. It was two days before Pete's memorial and we haven't received his remains. We spoke to a man named Jeff,... Read More

It was two days before Pete’s memorial and we haven’t received his remains. We spoke to a man named Jeff, who was wonderful. He said his remains were being sent to him tomorrow and that he will overnight them to us so they arrive in time for the funeral. Sure enough he did what was said. We received them the following day and he called to make sure that they arrived. Also, followed-up with a few more phone calls making sure that we received the urn and that everything went ok with the service.
You can’t beat that customer service. He was on top of everything and just went above and beyond to make sure that Pete made it back in time for his celebration of life. We cannot thank Jeff enough for his impeccable customer service. Thanks for making what was a hard and emotional few days less stressful. We cannot thank you enough!
Respectful, kind and slow explanation of information. Not a "sales" company. Terrible you are sitting there already and Sherry made it easier - gentle. It is moderate in price. Not too high, not too low since it was a cremation. Thank you.
I feel blessed we came across this place, during such a difficult time. Ronny was very professional throughout the whole process, guided us and explained everything in detail. He even went out of his way to have the service on a Friday night after hours to accommodate out of town relatives. I 100% would recommend this place - they are honest people.
Professional and caring. What more could you ask for?
My Mother passed on June 22, 2013. She had a prepaid contract with The National Cremation Society, at 2990 Bee Ridge Rd., Sarasota. They were very helpful, took care of all the details as promised, and delivered the ashes and 13 copies of the death certificates in a very timely manner. Some out of state siblings were able to arrive here without any scheduling problems caused by the cremation society. All went well, in a difficult time. I personally made my own arrangements with them today, based on my personal experience dealing with them. I would describe their service with... <
