Lots of times today families are writing their own obituaries. Certainly the funeral director can assist the families with writing an obituary. They can certainly help with the editing of that. When you want to submit to a newspaper, most newspapers only accept obituaries submitted by a funeral establishment or a funeral director, so we will also assist in helping the family submit to any of the newspapers that they wish to have their loved one’s obituary in.
