The staff at the National Cremation and Burial Society Oviedo is actively involved in the community, working closely with local hospice organizations, hospitals, assisted living facilities and nursing homes. Elizabeth Franco

Location Manager

Elizabeth has been in the industry for about 20 years, attended mortuary school at Antilles College of Health of San Juan, Puerto Rico, and graduated in January 2000. She worked at Funeraria Viner in Bayamon, PR (1999-2003). In 2003, she relocated to Kentucky, and was unable to transfer her college credits. Elizabeth returned to college and got her Associate of Arts Degree in Funeral Service at John A. Gupton College of Nashville, TN, and graduated in December of 2006. Elizabeth moved to Florida in the summer of 2007 with her three children and completed her internship at Lakeland Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens (2007-2010). She received her Florida Funeral Director and Embalmers License in 2008. Elizabeth was promoted and was transferred to Harvey-Engelhardt Funeral and Cremation Services in Fort Myers (2010-2011). She then returned to Central Florida and worked at Funeraria y Crematorio Porta Coeli, Kissimmee (2011-2017) and Lanier Funeral and Cremation Services (2017-2018). She joined our Team in November of 2018.



Debra Greenidge

Funeral Director

Debra received her degree in Mortuary Science from American Academy McAllister Institute in New York then worked as a Licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer for many years before relocating to Florida in 2004. After working a few years as a Licensed Embalmer in Orlando, she took some time off to be the primary caregiver for her elderly father. Debra joined the Oviedo team in 2019. She is very happy to be back and proud to be serving our families as they are going through their most difficult times. In her free time she and her longtime partner love traveling and spending time with their family and friends - especially their fur baby, Kyson!



Suzanne M. Blanks

Suzanne Blanks Funeral Director

Funeral Director

Suzanne Blanks is a licensed funeral director with a passion for helping people. She grew up in Central Florida and has also lived in London, England, Atlanta, GA and Key West, FL. Before her 10 year career in funeral directing she was a pre-school and elementary teacher. She enjoys art, spending time at the beach, traveling and volunteering at church.



Venessa Grullon

Office Coordinator

Venessa, joined National Cremation & Burial Society in June of 2017. She is the proud mother of a 15 year old boy and is engaged to be married in 2020. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications as well as a Master’s in Business Administration. When she is not working she moonlights as an event manager, in addition to donating her time with various volunteer organizations.



Miranda Diez

Service Support Administrator

Miranda was born and raised in Minnesota, where she earned her degree at Rasmussen College. She and her family moved to Orlando in 2015. She has been married for 12 years and has 2 beautiful children. In her spare time, she reads and tries to get to new beaches as often as she can.

What do I do when a death occurs?

  1. A call to National Cremation and Burial Society (407) 365-1600 is all that is needed to start the complete process, from anywhere in the world.
  2. We dispatch our professionally trained and compassionate personnel to transport the deceased from place of death to our licensed climate controlled care center.
  3. Families are contacted as quickly as possible after a death and information is gathered to initiate and coordinate the cremation.
  4. For cremation, the cremation permit, disposition permit, and family cremation authorizations must be completed according to Florida State Law before cremation can take place.
  5. Once our staff has received the necessary authorizations and documents have been properly signed, the cremation will take place.
  6. The cremated remains will be delivered to our office and transferred into the urn or keepsakes selected by the family. The funeral director will discuss with the family a time to release the urn. If shipping or delivery is requested, allow 1- 2 additional days.
