I would like to share my experience here with you with arranging services for one of two of the most important persons in my entire life, and in tow, the other most important person in my life, 4 foot 9, 96 year old Mom who had lost half of herself just a day a two before.
Upon entering the building, we were greeted so pleasantly, home feeling, real and sincere. Of course this is going to be the persona of a funeral type home but many times it is felt canned or pre-recorded – not at all here.
We met with the Director Tanya and Drew, her assistant. Goodness, do these people know, not only their business, but also emanate a true sense of caring. We were never rushed or pressured. When we departed after completing all the arrangements, there was a feeling of total comfort.
My Mom went home with the feeling of confidence and comfort. No one can sell that nor can it be bought, it is only provided and given.
Did the company get extra money for providing the service of comfort feeling? The answer is no, they gave it freely. Through the process and after our “Celebration of Life” which was also held at their facility, they completely catered the service, providing military and clergy. All was flawless, in fact it was better than flawless if there is such a category. The kindness, the honor and respect given us by these special people I have not witnessed before.
Now, those who know me should know that should it have gone the other way, less than professional, there would be a narrative expressing the particulars of the same.
I am so glad and pleased we selected National Cremation and Burial Society in Hudson/Port Richey. I would also like to share the Directors name again, Tanya Perkins.
My Mom and I had numerous people come up after the services expressing they had never been to such a nice service. We received notes and cards from others who attended stating the same. We should never forget, funeral services are for the living, to honor those who have passed. To everyone, Thank you!
